~~~ <br />1 <br />Discussion was held on~the section requiring a permit be issued by the <br />safety Director, automatically being the Mayor. <br />Mr. Feneli stated that phone calls are not enforceable and permits <br />should require the exact material being transported to be listed in case <br />of spillage. . <br />Mr. Bordonaro, seconded by Mr. Grogan, made the motion to suspend the <br />rules of law requiring an ordinance to be read on three separate occasions. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />1 <br />Motion Carried <br />Ordinance Passed <br />Mr. Busa asked the Law Director to prepare legi~latuon that would pro- <br />hibit the storage fo Nuclear Waste above or below ground in the Village <br />of Mayfield and .any other dangerous materials. He asked that a fine <br />be listed as.the penality. <br />Lighting, in Aintree North. <br />Mr. Hovancsek said that Mr. Miller had given the rate for 1978 for the <br />lighting of Wildwood and Timberline Trails of_ $1,465.44.~'There will be <br />a 15/ increase in 1979. Mr. Ho.vancselc recommended this lighting and ~~' <br />said Mr. Miller asked that formal papers be ready by next month. <br />Public Service and Public Utlilities committee to review. <br />Mr. Grogan requested that consideration be given to the installation of <br />lights in Kenwood N.or_th~;a.ndyH`yckory_r~Hill and the cul-de-sacs. <br />Codification of Ordinances - Replies are being awaited regatding letters <br />sent to firms by Mr. Avery. <br />~4 Hour Dispatching - Mayor Beebe said Joe Wiece is ill and the subject <br />should be discussed in Executive Session. Hoped Council is in agreement <br />that an outside dispatcher can be temporarily hired .if need arises. <br />Mr. Grogan stated that if legislation can be passed for the Auxiliary <br />Police they can be used, the subject is before the Finance Committee. <br />Village Engineer Rate Proposal - Referred to Finance Committee, report <br />to be ready before the end of the year. <br />Sick Leave - To be reviewed by the Finance Committee. <br />GENERAL COMMENTS: <br />Mayor Beebe - asked for Council approval of the Proclamation he read <br />earlier. <br />Mr.Boger, seconded by Mr. Grogan, made the motion to approve the <br /> <br />
