G/~• <br />of sidewalks need to be indentified also - He understands legislation <br />is needed re the SOM Center Drainage - Mayfield Heights is having open <br />house Saturday for their new Service Building, reminded Council that our's <br />is inadequate - The new RTA Bus Stops are smart looking and reminded <br />Council that the maintenance would be the responsibility of the Village <br />if RTA is not permitted to advertise on the buildings. <br />Meeting recessed at 9:30 P.M. <br />Meeting reconvened at 9:55 PAM. <br />Architectu~~al Review Board - Mr. Amendola commented on the meeting held <br />on the 16th in which the Board considered the Office Building for Beth <br />Drive and an addition for Progressive Insurance. <br />Cemetery - No Report <br />Council of Councils - Mrs. Hanus gave a brief report of their last <br />meeting in which Mr. Grogan had reported that Mayffeld~~Village had passed <br />an ordinance on Muclear Wastes. An opinion w.as solicited re the <br />members getting their monies worth out of the Council of Councils and it <br />was the general opinion that they were not. <br />Planning & Zoning - Mrs. Hanus reported on the meeting of November 13th <br />during which Mr. Julius Paris had presented (along with his Architect) <br />a model of his proposed Office Building for Beta Drive. They will need <br />a parking variance; further consideration to be given at the workshop <br />meeting on the 30th. Mr. Sid Caplan requested a 3' varian.c.e (below grade) <br />on 14 of his lots in the Hanover Woods Development. This also is on <br />the agenda for the 30th.. <br />Mr. Bordonaro questioned the beautification of the entrance of Beta <br />Drive that was to have been done by Mr. Paris. <br />Mr. Amendola stated Mr. P axis had submitted plans for this about two <br />years ago but they were rejected by the A.R.B. Also, Mr. Paris is <br />considering a o.ne-story building on Beta~Drive and the Village is in <br />hopes Mr. Paris will consent to having the RTA Bus Stop placed on <br />his property. <br />Mrs. Hanus stated that the Planning Commission is insisting that Council <br />talce some action regarding the revamping of the Zoning Code. More than <br />a year has clasped since the initial request. Mr. Avery has indicated <br />some action is being considered in a letter Council+;Yreceived but the <br />Commission feels too much time is being wasted.' <br />Mr. Feneli explained the situation re employment of a firm to handle <br />the revision. <br />A discussion was held on the best approach to expedite the matter with <br />the least amount of expense. It was agreed that a Committee be formed <br />to analyze the particular parts of the code in question. The Committee <br />would then make their recommendation in writing to the Law Director to <br />verify its legality. Once the wor]{ is completed it could then be <br />submitted to Council for approval for codification. <br />Committee: Mr. Bennett, Mrs. Hanus, Mr. Amendola and a P & Z Member <br />Ito be appointed by the Commission) <br />
