(S Resolution 78-68, entitled: "AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION OPPOSING ,A RATE INCREASE REQUEST FILED~BY THE CLES7.ELANb ELECTRIC ILLUMINATING COMPANY WITH'THE~PUBLIC UTILITIES COMMISSION OF OHIO", was introduced by Mr. Busa. Mrs. Hanes, seconded by Mr. Flynn, made a motion to suspend the rules of law requring~a resolution to be read on three separate'occ~asion. ' Roll Call: AYES: All NAYS: None Motion Carried ~~Rules Suspended Mr. Grogan, seconded by Mrs. Hanes, made a motion to pass Resolution 78-68. F Roll Call: AYES: All NAYS: None Motion Carried Resolution passed Clerk to. certify copies to those indicated in Section 2. Mayor Beebe asked that copies, also be sent to the Mayors of the surround- ing areas. I '_ F. r RTA Bus Shelters Mr. Feneli stated that the. maintenance of the shelters is under contract with the City Shelters Ink Company who is~at liberty, to advertise what= ever°c they chose. .The Village, has 'an existin.g~ordinance prohibiting advertising and X11 that is necessary is to~f,orward a copy to the Companya Mr. Feneli said he talked with the owner and they indicated there would be no problem since there is only one or.two shelters. ~~ Mr. Hovancselt~suggested a contract be drawn up stating the Village would maintain and light the. shelters in exchange-for no, advertisements being placedc.on•',the shelters. ~ ~ •~ L a~a_Director to pursue the matter. Mr..Relic reminded Council that the first ordinance to be considered at the January meeting would be the temporary bucl.get and.nb appropreations can be made if this is not approved. Council has already recei,ved~copies of this ordinance. ~ ~~ ' Mr.'Bennett suggested another Council person be assigned to the Finance Committee in lieu. of Mr. Boger's absence. ~ ,~ Mr. Flynn to take Mr. Boger's place until he returns.
