. 6. <br />Village Solicitor: Mr. Edelman: <br />ORDINANCE #71-56: Mr. Schmidt introduced ORDINANCE #71-56, Entitled: <br />"AiV ORDINANCE REQUZRTNG A TAP-IN CHARGE Tp BE PAID FOR USE OF A WATER <br />MAIiV AND SANITARY SEli1ER INSTALLED BY SHIRLEY BARGHOLT AND PETER BARGHOLT <br />zN BEECHER'S BROOK ROAD." Mr. Leech, seconded by Mr. Davis, made a motion <br />to suspend the rules of law requiring an ordinance to be read on three <br />separate occasions. Roll Call: AYES: Messrs. Boger, Bordonaro, Braun, <br />Davis, Leech and Schmidt. NAYS: None. <br />Motion Carried <br />Rules Suspended <br />Mr. I,eech, seconded by Mr. Davis, moved that Ordinance #71-56 be approved <br />and passed as read. Ro11 Ca11: -AYESe Messrs. Boger, Bordonaro, Braun, <br />Davis, Leech and Schmidt. NAYS: 1Vone. <br />Motion Carried <br />Ordinance Passed <br />RESOLUTION: Mr. Leech introduced a Resolution, Entitled, "A RESOLUTION <br />AUTHQRIZING THE SQLICITOR TO DEFEND THE TWO VAN CUREN LAW SUITS." Mr'.Leech, seconded by Mr. Boger, moved that this Resolution be approved and <br />passed as read. Roll Ca11: AYES: Messrs. Boger, Bordonaro, Braun, Davis, <br />Leech and Schmidt. NAYS: Noneo . <br />Motion Carried <br />Mr. Relic reminded the council that there is approximately $3,000.00 in <br />the 1972 budget for extraordinary legal fees and any amount over or above <br />that, they will have to raise the revenue. <br />Mr. Edelman read a letter dated Jan. 31, 1972 from the Board of County <br />Commissioners regarding the current study as to the proposed improvement <br />and widening of the intersection of Lander Rd. and Ridgebury Blvd. and <br />other intersections. <br />ORl7INANCE #72-8: Mr. Boger introduced ORDINEINCE #72-8, Entitled: "AN <br />ORDINANCE [-LDOPTING THE 1971 EDITION OF THE NATIONAL ELECTRIC!-iL CODE OF THE <br />NATIONAL FIRE PROTECTIVE ASSOCIkTIOAT." Mr,. Schmidt, seconded by Mr. Leech, <br />made a motion to suspend the rules of law requiring an ordinance to be <br />read on three separate occasions. Roil CaI1: AYESe Messrs.
