3? <br />by the Planning and Zoning Commission because they provide for two access <br />driveways leading from the property to Sandalwood Drive, which the Plann- <br />ing and Zoning Commission and council believe would create a dangerous <br />traffic condition jeopardizing the safety of children and adults walking <br />on Sandalwood; and, <br />"Inrhereas, said Van Curen's have made a written demand on this council to <br />appropriate their alleged right of access to Sandalwood Drive, and council <br />does not desire to prohibit all access to said road but is willing to <br />approve reasonable access. <br />"Now, therefore, be it resolved by the council of the Village of Mayfield, <br />Ohio, that, in addition to a driveway on SOM Center Road, council will <br />approve a single driveway on Sandalwood Drive not over 12' in width, to <br />be located to the west of any buildings constructed on said property, and <br />to be used only by non commercial vehicles and only for egress to Sandal- <br />wood Drive and that trucks and other commercial vehicles be prohibited <br />from using said driveway, and further provided that no additional drive- <br />way shall be constructed leading from the proposed development (either <br />as now existing or as it may be further extended by rezoning) to Sandal- <br />wood Drive, and on condition that the final development plans are to be <br />approved by the Planning and Zoning Commission and council." Mr. Leech, <br />seconded by Mr. Davis, made a motion to suspend the rules of law requir- <br />ing a resolution to be read on three separate occasions. Roll Call: <br />AYES; Messrs. NAYS: Mr. Braun. <br />Motion Carried <br />Resolution .idopted <br />Mayor Beebe remarked that those in attendance could speak at the appro- <br />priate time after the meeting. <br />Traffic Control on ldilson Mills: The Worton Park area has a serious <br />problem with the traffic on Wilson Mi11s. 4Jorking now on a$130,000.00, <br />$8,000>00 our contribution, traffic control study from SOM Center Rd. <br />to Richmond Rd. Mayor Beebe stated that there will be a council caucus <br />discussion on this problem. <br />Storm Sewer S,ystem: Which comes south through part of our town, from <br />Worton Park area, is a problem. Mayor De John (M.H.) has requested a <br />meeting. <br />PUBLIC HEARING: On April 5, 1972 at 8:00 p.m., Niayfield Village Hall, <br />there will be an open hearing on the Vlilson Mills high rise matter on <br />proposed Ordinance #72-1. <br />
