6. <br />Committee Reports: <br />Planning and Zoni_ng Commission; Mr. Bordonaro: Read the report of <br />Hpril 10, 1972 Meeting. Matters that came up for discussion were <br />Upper Forty and the Progressive Insurance Co, proposal for the former <br />Gould property on Wilson Mills Rd. at I-271o <br />Special Meeting: A special Meeting will be set by Chairman Kreckel of <br />the Flanning and Zoning Commission relative to Ordinance if71-37. <br />Safet,y and Service Committee: M-r. Schnidt stated thGt they rnet April <br />3, 1972 and there was nothing for council's attention. <br />Finance Committee; Nir. Davis. Reported they met on ?pril 12, 1972a <br />Mr. Davis, seconded by Mro Boger, introduced "PAY ORDIIV'ANCE #584P'' <br />and recornmended the payment of bil.ls. Roll Ca11: A1'ES: Messrs. Boger, <br />Bordonaro, Braun9 Aavis, Leech and Schmidto NAYS: None. <br />Motion Carried <br />Pay Qrdinance i'assed <br />Mr. Davis, seconded by Mr. Boger, made a i.lotion to approve the payment <br />of annual dues to N0ACA. Roll Call: AY'LS: Niessrso Boger, Bordonaro, <br />Braun, Davis, Leech and Schmi_dt. NAYSe None. <br />y;otion Carried <br />Recreation Committee; Mr. Braun: Reported that 37 children signed <br />up for Center School Summer Day Camp, 83 girls and 64 boys for soft <br />ball, 37 junior ].eague and 15 for swimming. There is a need for sev- <br />eral more pools for this progrum. Requested to notify committee if <br />you are interested in becomming involved. <br />Architectural Board: Mr. Leech: No meeting. <br />Union Cemeter,y: NTr. Leech: Nothing to report. <br />Citizen's Ntaster Plana Mr. Kreckel: Nothing to report <br />Ordinance Review Committee: Mr. Grogan: Referred to the letter sent <br />the mayor proposing recommendations for changes in the ordinance re- <br />lating to campers and trailors. It is legal or illegal and should not <br />be passed on a complaint. Would like abolishing "For Sale" signsa <br />Mayor Beebe will send councilmen a copy of the letter. <br />General .Reports: <br />Village Solicitor: NIra Edelman; <br />ORDINANCE 972-10: Entitled: e90 ORDINANCE xUTHORIZING A CONTRxCT <br />WITH KENNETH NiEYE ?S , D. B.:'l., KEN' SAUTO SERVICE FOR THE DISPOSt1L OF <br />ABANDONED 'r,ND JUNK VEHTCLES." Given a second reading. Mr. Schmidt, <br />secondea by Nr. Braun, made a motion to suspend the rules of law <br />requiring an ordinance to be read on three separate occasions.
