Quotation received from Signal Service <br />Co. for $4,102y half of which is to be shared with Highland Heights. <br />There is a problem in that area and the need for either a police officer <br />to stand there or to block off the intersection until a light is installed <br />when school beginso Mr. Schmidt wanted to know if, the School Board <br />would go along with the traffic survey to which Chief Shortle said the <br />location of the new driveway followed our request and recommendation of <br />Regional Planning. Mayor Beebe: Could we assess the School Board. <br />Mra Leech stated he would bring up at their next meeting. Council agreed <br />that Signal's quote was reasonable and no more were required from other <br />sources. <br />RESOLD-TION: Mr. Davis, seconded by Mr. Braun, introduced the following <br />emergency Resolution: "RESOLVED THAT COUNCIL AUTHORIZE5 THE PURCHASE <br />AND EXPENDITURE OF FULVDS FOR A TRAFFIC SIGNAL N SERIES AT THE MAYFIELD <br />HIGH SCHOOL DR2VEWAY AT WILSON MILLS ROAD AT APPROXIMATE COST OF $47100 <br />ON CONDITIONg HOWEVER9 THAT THE CITY OF HIGHLAND HEIGHTS PAY ONE-HALF <br />OF 'I'IIE CO5T THEREOF IN EXCESS OF THE AMOUNT9 g' ANY' THE MAYFIELD BOARD <br />OF EDUCATION MAY CONTRIBUTE.
