Own property on Thornapple and would like <br />to keep it that way. <br />Bernard Salis (Friends of the Mayfield Regional Library): Sent a I.etter <br />to all Councilmen requeSting a portion of the federal revenue sharing <br />funds. Reasons we are asking for some of the funds are• because where <br />the li.brary is located and its nature. It is part of the Village and <br />used by the schools. Only source of revenue is from intangible taxes ? <br />from the County Commissioner. This money is requestedso the library <br />can be open from 1 to 5 on Sundays which would cost about $310 or $1406 <br />totaZ for the year (only nine months). Clerk-Treasurer Relic advised <br />he had not received a copy of the request but would check into the matter. <br />Mr. Gilbert Leib (Mayfield Regional Library): Advised he would be <br />willi.ng to go into more detail if Council wishes. <br />At this point in the proceedings, Mr. Leech arrived. <br />There being no further comments from the f].oor, the open discussion • <br />was concluded. <br />Mr. Boger, seconded by Mr. Davis, made a motion to accept the minutes <br />. of the December 18 meeting. <br />Roll Call: AYES: Messrs. Boger, Bordonaro, Braun, Davis, <br />Leech, & Schmidt <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />. Minutes Approved , <br />, <br />New Business: . <br />The Mayor swore in Mr. Lawrence I. Byrnes as new Village Solicitor. <br />Mr. Byrnes, a notary Public, swore in Mr. Anthony D'Agostino as Service <br />, Director and Building Snspector and Mr. Les Foltz as Road Foreman. <br />The Mayor reappointed Messrs. Dumont, Asamoto, and Councilman Leech <br />to the Architectural'Board of Review. The Mayor appointed Mr. Robert <br />' Schulte to the Building Code Appeals Board. The Firemen's Dependents <br />' Fund appointments will be delayed until the next meeting for more time <br />? to review. ; <br />Mr. Schmidt, seconded by Mr. Leech, made a motion to approve the <br />appo3ntments. <br />i Roll Ca11: AYES: Messrs.
