-7-
Mr. LeeCh commented this Resolution is to grant an easement.to the Village for the water main on the property owned by Progressive. The
entrance roaci does not meet the Village's standards and therefor,e cannot
be accepted for dedication; but, is adequate for their facilities and
will have to be maintained by them.
The Mayor stated a letter setting forth that the Village cannot aceept
such road for dedication has been prepared. All Councilmen present
agreed not to accept the roadway. .
Mr. Davis, seconded by Mr. Boger, introduced pay Ordinance 593P.
Roll Call: •AYES: Messrs..Boger, Bordonaro, Braun, Davis,
Leech, & Schmidt NAYS: None •••
Motion Carried
Ordinance Passed
Mr. Leech, seconded by Mr. Bordonaro, made a motion to pass Ordinance
72-2; entitled, "AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE-
VILLAGE OF MAYF2ELD BY TR.ANSFERRING CERTAIN PROPERTY NORTH OF HIGHLAND
ROAD FROM ANOFFICE/LABORATORY DI5TRSCT AND PRODUCTION/DISTRIBUTION
DISTRICT TO A CLA55 U-1 USE DISTRICT".
Mr. 5chmidt commented: I believe the Village is strictly residential
and think the people in that area would not object to a comprehensive
plan if given to them. There' s been a-1ot of time and money invested
in that property and Council would be remiss.to vote, this property
strictly into a residential area and tYie people should have some say.
- The majority of people want to keep it residential and are reasonable.
If they knew of some of the hardships that would be given to some of
their neighbors, they• would look at it 'differently. I as'k.Council not
to vote on it or to vote it down. Bring-those people in to see how ,'
this affects , them individually. ,
Roll Call: AYES: Messrs.
