He-also requested Council's approval to hire <br />; a landscape architect to review plans for new developments whose fees <br />would be reimbursed to the Village by the developer. Mr. Leech also <br />? asked a Resolution specifically authorizing the Vi].lage to employ such <br />an architect to review the landscaping p1.ans for Holiday Inn as,they <br />have been in the hands of the Architectural Board for some time now. <br />Mr. Boger suggested having a landscape architect on the Board to which _ <br />- Mr. Leech agreed, but said at present the Board had a comp].ete member- <br />ship. . <br />Mr. Boger, seconded by Mr. Leech, introduced Resolution 838.; entitled,? <br />"A RESOLUTION TO EMPLOY A LANDSCp?PE ARaiITECT". Mr. Leech, seconded by Mr. Boger, made a motion to suspend the rules <br />requiring a Resolution be read on three Sepaxate occasions. <br />Roll Call: AYES: Messrse Boger, Bordonaro,.Davis, Leech, <br />Prager, & Schmidt.. <br />NAYSt None . <br />Motion Carried <br />Rules Suspended <br />Mr. Leech, seconded by Mr. Boger, made a motion to adopt Resolution 838. <br />Roll Cal.lt AYE5: Messrs. Boger, Bordonaro, Davis, Leech, <br />Prager, & 5chmidt <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Resolution Rdopted <br />Committee Re ortst <br />Planninct & Zoninq: Councilman Bordonaro reported the concept presented <br />by ARCO for a car wash was not approvedo. Approval was given to split <br />the Straniero property. The Commission agreed to recommend to Council having a landscape arCYiitect employed by the Village. The subject of <br />C.E.M. using property between the Village Hal1 and I-271 as a storage <br />area in contrast to th`e zoning of the land was discussed. , <br />Safetv & Service: Councilman Prager stated the following subjects werediscussed at their last meeting: sprinkling systems, Echo Drive septic <br />tank, tree removal at Progressive site, streets & roads that have and <br />need repair, conflict of interest Ordinance, water shutoff on Glenview <br />and Beech Hill, downspouts not tied into storm sewers in Maples of <br />Aintree, C.E.I. dumping rubble behind Mr. Stead, request for street <br />sign repai.rs 9 changes in the "°trailer Ordinancear . . <br />The Mayor appointed Mr. Prager to serve as Council representative on <br />the Safety & 5ervice Committee. He stressed the importance of this <br />committee to bring certain problems to light such as the existence of <br />a"conflict of interest" Ordinance. He also advised Lou Hovancsek had. <br />been constantly at the Progressive.site during their tree removal. <br />
