-2- <br />The Mayor advised Mr. Byrnes had established it was the Village's responsibility <br />to repair the berm. Mr. Hovancsek stated the approximate cost for reseeding <br />would be between $30--$50, The Mayor concluded it was now a matter of priority <br />work to be done in the Village but would set a target date within six weeks for <br />completion. <br />At this point Mr. Leech arrived at 8:27 p.m. <br />There being no further comments from the floor, that portion of the meeting <br />concluded. <br />Mro Davis, seconded by Mr. Schulte, made a motion to approve the mitutes of the <br />June 18, Council meeting. <br />Roll Call: AYES: Messrs. Boger, Bordonaro, Davis, Leech <br />Prager & Schulte <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Minutes Approved <br />Mr. Boger noted a correction should be made to last month's meeting minutes. <br />Mr. Bordonaro voted "nay" on passage of Ordinance 73-7. <br />IVEW BUSINESS: <br />Street Paving: The Mayor advised paving of Glenview, Bonnieview and Robley was <br />? done. Because of some extra funds part of Thornapple will be paved. <br />Robley Iane Storm Sewer: Cost of putting in a pipe was found to be approximately <br />$150. The Mayor asked Mr. Hovancsek to find a contractor to do the work and <br />submit the labor and material cost to Finance. <br />Sewer Ban : Mayor Beebe stated we had all read the ban had been lifted in the <br />newspapers but no one had received an official written notice. Mr. Byrnes was <br />asked to contact the authorities in Columbus to confirm. <br />OLD BUSINESS: <br />Mr. Leech stated a letter was finally received from Standard Oil on costs for <br />replacing the underground gas tank behind the Village Hall. The cost would be <br />approximately $2,200; therefore, it was decided to locate the Village's contract <br />with Standard Oil to determine what their obligations are. It was also suggested <br />?hat perhaps Council should advertise for bids. <br />Street Lighting: The Mayor adivsed nothing further can be done until the C.E.I. <br />strike is settled. <br />BeeEh?2 Hill Pumping Station: Mayor Beebe stated a letter was finally received <br />from the County stating they would do the landscaping and the work has since <br />begun.
