Mr. Byrnes advised
there was no such Ordinance at present and one would not be nece-
ssary becau5e Council has to approve any easements. It was decided
that professional opinion such as the Engineer's be sought before
Council does approve any property easements. Mr. Leech asked
Solicitor Byrnes to see if there should be any additional Ordinances
on easements.
Hickorv Hill: The Mayor advised he had delegated to various
Councilmen the problem areas nearest to them to handle: Mr.
Bordonaro was asked to report on Hickory Hill. The Mayor delegated this
problem axea toNir. Schulte who reported a meeting was scheduled
with he, Mr. Leech and Mr. Hovancsek with the Regional Sewer
Authority within the coming week. Mr. Schulte asked Mr. Havancsek
the cost of the pipe needed if the construction site were put
further back which would also require greater horsepower and
additional concrete. -The changes proposed by the Village were
not substantial. Mr. Schulte further stated we have a water prob-
lem on Bonnieview because of trucks crushing pipes from the Andrews
Estate. Mr. Leech asked Solicitor Byrnes to determine if we could
take any legal action to prevent the County from proceeding with
installation of the tank at its present proposed location. The
Mayor advised letters had been sent to Mayfield Heights officials.
- to which no reply yet received. `
Halloween: The Mayor stated the Village had a curfew last year
and asked Council's pleasure for trick or treating, or neither,
this year. Mr. Leech said at caucus Mr. Davis was to chair a
committee to see if we could have a party or something e1se. Mr.
Davis stated he would contact the Recreation Committee and Communi-
ty Club to check the possibility of using the Center School to
use for handing out treats. A report would be ready by next time .
Council meets. : .
Weed Cutting: The Mayor stated next to water the weeds were the
biggest problem where property owners who are not residents leave
their lots unattended.
