Mr. Leech advised the Ordinance on <br />weed cutting was discussed at caucus and all agreed there was <br />enough teeth to it for enforceinent; however, a few points should be <br />revised such as the distance weeds be cut from lots instead of <br />bui.ldings as presently written. Mr. Byrnes stated the Ordinance <br />would serve the present need but it should be revised. The Mayor <br />said the weeds on Hunt Circle had been taken care of. He also <br />- mentioned the County officials were out observing the Highland <br />Road bridge area and efforts have been made with Mr. Aveni, the <br />owner of the mini-mall,to keep those premises clean. <br />Mr. Leech commented on the mini-mall by advising the Village Service <br />Department had cleaned it up one day, but it was just as bad the <br />following day. He met with Mr. Aveni who has placed more containers <br />in the front and back and advised Mr. Aveni that proper cleanliness <br />was ultimately the responsibility of the tenants. Mr. Leech further <br />stated he told Mr. Aveni that he would be cited on a daily basis if <br />the mini-ma11 was not promptly cleaned up. He gave Mr. Aveni one <br />week to take action. Chief Hejcl noted citations have been <br />issued in the past to Mr. Aveni by the Fire Department and he would <br />continue to watch the area. <br />Other Problems: The Mayor stated Mr. Hovancsek had been posted <br />about raw sewerage in the Highland Road Baptist Church parking lot. <br />It is the County's responsi.bility and efforts had been_made to <br />have them clean the sewers in that area. <br />Ordinances/Resolutions: <br />Mr. Davis introduced Ordinance 73-36; entitled, "AN ORDINANCE <br />ACCEPTING THE ANiOUNTS AND R.ATES AS DETERMINED BY THE BUDGET CONIlK- <br />ISSIbN AND AUTHORIZING THE NECE5SAR7C TAX LEVIES AND CERTIFYING 3HEM <br />TO THE COUNTY AUDITOR". . <br />Mr. Leech, seconded by Mr. Davis, made a motion to suspend the <br />rules requiring an Ordinance be read on three separate occasioris. <br />Roll Call: AYES: <br />NAYS :• <br />. ; <br />Messrs.
