'r; , . . ... ?. . - <br />- 3- <br />AIEW BU5INESS: <br />alloween Party: Mr. Leech stated the Recreation Committee was spons- <br />!'oring a Halloween party at the Center School from 7 to 9 p.m. on October <br />31 and?,outlined various activities and contests planned. He further <br />urged parents to keep children off the streets after 7:00 p.m. and to <br />attend the party. <br />Street Lightinq: Mr. Leech advised street lighting,had been approved <br />and discussed for the Aintree Park area plus yarious intersections <br />where the Police Department had requested for safety. Mr. Byrnes said <br />'a Resolution would be prepared for next Council meeting and stated the <br />. costs and estimates would have to be placed-on file in the Clerk's <br />office so property owners could review as they have the right to object <br />to any assessments. <br />Charter Commi.ssion: Mr. Davis, seconded by Mr: 5chulte, introduced <br />' ResolutionJ847; entitled, "A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZIlNG PAYMENT OF <br />ADDITIONAL EXPENSES lNCURRED RND ANTICIPATED TO BE INCURRED BY THE <br />CHARTER QONIMISSION OF THE VILLAGE OF MAYFIELDt" . <br />Vince Busa, Cha3rman of the Charter Commission, asked from the floor <br />, that Council consider giving the Commission at least $1,000 to cover <br />their legal and other expenses. A discu5sion followed on said subject <br />and was agreed by Council a budget should be submitted by the Commission <br />?at least by next Council meeting so sufficient funds could be properly <br />appropriated and further so Council could see where the Commission . <br />;..`,anticipated spending the money. <br />Mr. Davis, seconded by Mr. Schulte,'made a motion to suspend the rules <br />requiring a Resolution be read on three separate occas3.ons. ' <br />Roll Call: AYES: Messrs. Boger, Bordonaro, Davis, <br />'. Prager, & Schulte <br />NAYS: None <br />` Motion Carried . R Rules Suspended <br />Mr. Davis,.seconded by Mr. Boger, made a motion to adopt Resolution. - <br />Roll Call:. AYES: MesSrs. Boger, Bordonaro, Davis, <br />Prager, & ScYlulte . <br />• NAYS: None <br />, Motion Carried <br />; Resolution Adopted . <br />; Snow Blower for Sidewalks: Mr..Leech asked Council's p].easure con.- <br />:1'N1,cerning whether the Village'should enter into a contract to have <br />Wilson Mills and S.O.M. Ceriter Roads sidewalks plowed or possibly buy <br />• ?.the equipment and do ourselves.
