Hearing were held in Columbus; <br />now all suburbs were being asked to contribute $.04 per resident to <br />defray cost of the Zegal representation to fight the increase. A <br />meeting to discuss how the suburbs should £ight the increase is being <br />held on O'ctober 16. <br />A resident from the floor asked.,.if the rubbish collector was required <br />to pick up leaves. Mr. Leech replied he was, however, Councilman <br />Boger added because of the excessive leaf load, Mr. Shiffer was com- <br />pensated last year for.his landfill costs. Mr. Davis informed the <br />people about a ehemical.tYiat decomposes leaves;,,also, the park in <br />? ;Newburgh Heights could not take on any more mvnicipalities' leaves for <br />compost piles.
