MINUTE5 OF THE REGULAR. MEETING <br />Village of Mayfiel.d <br />December 17, 1973 <br />The Council of the Village of Mayfield met i.n regular session at <br />the Mayfield Village Hall on December 17, 1973 at 8:10 p.m. <br />Mayor Beebe presided. <br />The Pledge of Allegiancp to the Flag was given. <br />Roll Call: Present: Mayor Beebe, Messrs. Bog?er, Davis, <br />Leech, Prager, & Schulte <br />Absent: Mr. Bordonaro <br />. , AS,so present were Messrs. Byrnes, Rel.ic, Amendola, and Chiefs <br />Hejel and Shortle. <br />_ The Mayoropened the meeting by asking.for comments from the floar, <br />however, there were none. <br />Mr. Boger, seconded by Mr. Davis, made a motion to approve the <br />:.. minutes of the November 19 Council meeting. <br />Roll Call: AYES: Messrs. Boger, Davis, Leech, <br />Prager, & Schulte <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Minutes Approved <br />OLD BUSINESS: <br />Safetv Street Liqhtinq:,s The Mayor stated safety street lighting at.: <br />i:ntersections'4as been - discussed over-a yeax. Initially the pl.an <br />was for total lighting throughout tYie Village; however, a survey /'.brought negative response. Instead, street lighting was decicled <br />as.per recommendation of the safety forces for specific secondary <br />intersections and that work has commenced. <br />,r Bike Trails: The Mayor-advised various gfirl scouts have been <br />before Council, on sev,eral occasions requesting a bicycle patYi. <br />?to`.seek out::;federal <br />,. -He further'stated research• has been underiaay. <br />funds and''requested Solicitor Byrnes to report._ Mr. Byrnesfederal; funds were .available urider the'. Water, Land, and <br />' Conservatioii Fund Act. :of ' 1965.
