-3- <br />Recreation: Councilman Davis expressed thanks to Mr. Scaccia, <br />who will be Santa Claus for the parade and who donated evergreens <br />that are displayed throughout the Village and hall. He also <br />thanked Mrs. Patsy Mills for the red bow's and mentioned the <br />Santa Claus parade and hayride. He extended gratitude to Marie <br />: Brown of the "5un Messenger" and Mr. Gary Pratt of the "Press" <br />for the publ.icity given to the Recreation Committee's activities. <br />- Architectural Board: Councilman Leech advised there had been no <br />meeting of the Board since the last Council meeting. <br />Cemeterva Councilm?an. Leech reported the crypt was in need of <br />repair and a'cost estimate had been received of $5,400. More <br />< quotations would be solicited, but fe1.t the cost would have to be <br />shared by three communities; Highland Heights, Mayfield Heights and <br />.... the Village unless the crypt were repaired soon. <br />- Charter Commission: Chairman Busa reparted there would be a public <br />. ' earing on January 10 and extended an inv-itation to Council to attend, <br />their.meeting on January 8, Mr. Leech asked if a written copy of <br />. what was already prepared wou].d be submitted to Council before it <br />meets,with the Commission to which Mre Busa replied no. <br />_ General Reports: <br />Mr. Byrnes reported two Ordi.nances needed to be introduced concerning <br />Village finances. . Mr. Davis, seconded by Mr. Schulte, introduced Ordinance 73-45; entitled, "AN ORDINANCE TO PROVIDE FOR TRANSFER AND APPROPRIATION <br />OF FUNDS FOR VARIOUS PURFOSES DURIIVG 'I'HE YEAR 1973". <br />Mr. Leech, seconded by Mr« Davis, made a motion to suspend tlie <br />rules requiring an Ordinance be read on three_separate occasionsa <br />Roll Call: AYES: Messrs. Boger, Davis, Leech, <br />Prager, & 5chulte <br />NRYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />, Rules Suspended <br />Mr. Boger, seconded by Mr. Prager, made a motion to pass the Ordinanceo <br />Roll Ca11.: AYE5: Messrs. Boger, Davis, Leech, <br />Prager, & Schulte <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />, Ordinance Passed <br />Mr. Davis, intraduced Ordinance 73-46; entitled, "AN ORDINANCE T0 <br />TRANSFER FUNDS FROM THE GENERAL FUND TO CERTAIN OTHER FU1VDS". <br />Mr. Leech, seconded by Mr. Dav3.s, made a motion to suspend the <br />rules requiring an Ordinance be read on three separate orcasionsm
