Messrs. Bennett <br />-' a.nd Bordonaro are to review the sPecifications with Police Chief <br />. Shortle and Mayor Leech before advertising ori either a purchase or <br />lease basis. The closing date for receipt of bids wi11 be Fr.i_day, April 5 at 3:00 p.m. Resolution for H. B. 1113: The Mayor stated at present the Power <br />Siting Commission could place utility poles where it felt necessary <br />in a municipality without the consultation or recommendation of the <br />municipality involved. House Bill 1113 would repeal this authority <br />and the Mayor txrged Council to pass a Resolution supporting this <br />bill. <br />Council as a Whole, introduced Resoiution 856; entitled, "A RESO- <br />LUTION MFMORIALIZING THE OHIO GENERAL ASSEMBLY TO EkUOPT HOUSE FiILL <br />IdUMBER 1113". <br />Mr. Bennett asked if this committed the Village to any legal fees <br />to which Mr. Byrnes replied no, it was just formal_ly stating the <br />Village's feelings. , <br />Mr. Bordonaro, seconded by Mr. Prager, made a moti.on to suspend <br />the rules of law requiring a Resolution be read on three separate <br />. occasions. <br />Roll Call: AYES: Messrs. Barclay, Bennett, Bordonaro, Mrs. <br />Negrelli, Messrs. Prager, and Schulte <br />NAYS : IJone <br />Motion Carried <br />Rules Suspended <br />Mr. Bordonaro, seconded by Mr. Prager, made a motion to pass. <br />Ro11 Call: AYES: Messrs. Barclay, Bennett, Bordonaro, Mrs. <br />Negrelli, Messrs. Prager, and Schulte <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Resolution Adopted <br />Mr. Prager introduced Resolution 857; entitled, "A RFSOLUTION <br />, FtEQUE5T11VG THE COUNTY. AUDITOR T0 ADVANCE TO THE VILLAGE OF MAYF'IELD , <br />CURREiVT TAX COLLECTIONS". <br />Mr. Relic said this was a request to the County Auditor to advance <br />our portion of tax collection receipts. He stated in the past we would receive a specific amount, however, this year, monies will <br />be periodically sent to us with reconciTiation, at the end of the yean.
