-5- <br />I <br />Planning & Zoning: Councilman Bordonaro reported the only business that came <br />before the Commission was a request for sigris by Holiday Inn. No action was <br />taken until for°mal applications have been submitted. <br />Architectural Board: Councilman Barclay reported an application for a swimming <br />pool was approved and the recommendation was made that for all subsequent <br />applications color photos of adjacent dwellings and samples of exterior materials <br />to be used be submitted to the Board for review. <br />Recreation: Councilman Bennett announced the Committee was conducting the Easter <br />Egg Hunt tobe held on April 13 at the Center School. <br />Cemetery: Councilwoman Negrelli reported she was awaiting bids for repair of the <br />crypt and Harry Krause would continue the custodial maintenance. <br />Codification Committee: Councilwoman Negrelli reported a11 the Ordinances have <br />been copied and are in the hands of the Drane Co. for codification. Mr. F'rager <br />stated the general offenses code adopted by Council recently would remain in <br />force until the completion. o,f the codification process, then the,y will be <br />updated to reflect passed ]egislati.on by the State Government. <br /> <br />Charter Cornmission: Chairman Busa reported the Chater books would be del.ivered <br />to the Village Hall this week for mailing, whicb. is now under the control and is <br />the responsibilit,y of the Clerk-Treasurer. Mr. Relic commented the ].abels have <br />all been affixed to the envelopes an.d he i_s ready to mail the charter when they <br />arrive. <br />GENERAL REPORTS: <br />Mr. Relic announced we received $50,000 advance against tax collections. <br />Mr. Hovancsek reported he was working with the Building Commissioner to set up <br />a schedule ot resurface the Village streets; however, advised the oost of asphalt <br />had risen from $20 to ;;50 per cubic yard. <br />The Mayor sai.d the worst catch basins were presently being cleaned. Mr. Relic <br />commented the road building program has been going on for three years with no <br />I cost to the residents, <br />Mr. Byrnes advised we have filed our appeal on the VanCuren laweuit in the Ohio <br />Supreme Court and will soon have to make a decision whether to pursue or not the <br />appeal. _ <br />The Mayor said the noon siren would be repaired as soon as the parts can be <br />secured and put into place. <br />Mr. Prager said he missed seeing the flag in front of the Village Hall lit at <br />night, but in lieu of the ener.gy crisis was happy the Village could help in some <br />small way. _ There being no further business, Mr. Prager, seconded by Mr. Barclay made a <br />? motion to adJourn:the meeting: . <br />? <br />?
