Mayor Leech said yes and Mr. Byr_nes stated at any time a <br />Councilman could introduce an ordinance for amending the map. Mre <br />Bennett asked for_ Council's assurance that discussion of the zone <br />map would not be terminated after passage of the ordi.nance as he <br />was not totally in favor of the entire zoning as it presently stands. <br />Because a majority of votes is necessary by Couneil -s.n,d._there_only __ ___ <br />being four members present all four unanimous votes are necessary; <br />he would, therefore, vote to approve it if Council gave him such an <br />assurance. Council assured Mr.,.Bennett that the map would be dis- <br />cussed at an.y •time. Mr. Barclay stated the maa.n reason for passing <br />the ordina.nce was to have the map updated as the most recent map <br />we have is dated 1948. <br />Mr. Barclay, seconded by Mr. I3ordonaro, made a motion to include <br />the above two mentioned amendmentso <br />Roll Call: AYES: Messrse Barclay, Bennett, Bordonaro, and <br />Schu7_ -te <br />NAYS; None <br />Motion Carried <br />Mrs Barclav' seronded by Mr. Bordonaro, made a. motion to p ass <br />Ordinance 73-43 as zsnended. <br />Roll Calle AYES: Messrs.
