Mr. Pra?ter stated the cost to the Village for the traffic signalization on. <br />Wilson Mills would be $8,000, which would include street crossings at K-Mart <br />the high school and Miner Road. The county is paying for the entire job <br />except for engineering fees. <br />He also urged the people to vote on Election Day, Mr. Prager then said he <br />hoped the residents would limit trick or treating of their children on <br />Halloween to their respective neighborhoods until 7:00, and then attend <br />a party to be held at the Center School or the high school. <br />Mr. Prager bri.efly mentioned Council's support of the Recreation Committee's <br />request to resign from MARC; however, because adverse publicity in the <br />newspapers and a request from the school board and MARC, a meeting will be <br />held with all involved to discuss. <br />Mr. Bordonaro asked regarding the meeting with MARC would there be a rep- <br />resentative from our Recreation Committee present to which Mr. Prager said <br />yes, the Chairman, Mayor, Dr. Stabile, Mr. McClung to be included. <br />Approval of the last Council meeting minutes was deferred until next meeting. <br />OLD BUSINESS: <br />Ordinance 73a27; entitled, "AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE N0. 960 oF TxE <br />VILLAGE OF MAYFIELD PROVIDING CERTAIN ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS UNDER THE <br />ZONING LAWS OF THE VILLAGE INCLUDING AUTOMATIC REFERRALS TO THE ELECTORATE <br />WHERE ORDINANCES ARE ENACTED PROVIDING CHANGES TO EXISTING LAND USES OR ANY <br />CHAPIGE WHATSOEVER TO ANY ORDINANCE, OR THE ENACTMENT OF ANY ORDINANCE REFERRING <br />TO OTHER REGULATIONS CONTROLLING THE DEVELOPMENT OF LAND AND THE SELLING OR <br />LEASING OR RENTAL OF PARKWAYS, PLAYGROUNDS, OR OTHER VILLACE LANDS OR REAL <br />PROPERTY OR FOR THE WIDENING, NARROWING, RE-LOCATING, VACATING, OR CHANGING <br />THE USE OF ANY PUBLIC STREET,AVENUE, BOULEVARD, OR ALLEY, AND OTFiER MATTERS <br />FiEREIN SET FORTH,"was given a third reading. <br />Ordinance 74;?41; entitled, " AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE N0. 159, THE <br />ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF MAYFIELD, BY ADDING SECTION 19.1 PER- <br />TAINING TO FENCES IN RESIDENTIAL DISTRICTS, REPEALING ORDINANCE N0. 773, <br />AND DECZARING .4N ENERGENCY," WAS READ. <br />Mr. Prager advised a public hearing was held on subject ordinance this <br />evening and recommendation for approval was received f,r:om the Planning & <br />Zoning Commission. <br />Mr. Schulte stated basically the ordinance reaffirms a permit fee of $5,00 <br />and 10¢ per lineal foot. <br />Mr. Schulte, seconded by Mrs. Negrelli, made a motion to pass. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />? <br />Nays: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Ordinance Passed <br />- 2 -
