New Village Hall Building_Committee - PZr. Comella <br />The Committee will meet January 22, fourth Monday. <br />Village Tncome Tax - Board of P~eyie~~~ - rir. i~iason -- No P.eport. <br />Police Department - Police Chief Shortle <br />Iie gave a report of the previous month's activities, also a yearly <br />report. <br />iir. Easton, President of the Auxilliary Police Unit, presented a <br />portable radio communications unit to the Police Department. This had been <br />purchased from the proceeds of the I~iinstrel Show and the Policeman's Dance. <br />i~iayor Busa thanked itir. Easton and the Auxilliary Police, in behalf <br />of the Council and the entire Village, He announced that ~~~e are proud of our <br />Chief and his men. <br />Fire Department - Fire Chief Hejcl <br />He gave his 1967 report. dope to have our neiti~ $31,477.00 fire <br />truck delivered by the end of I~iarch. <br />Buildin Department - dir. D'Agostino •- No Tteport. <br />Service Department - ~~ir. Foltz <br />He is operating the snow .p low now. <br />P~ayor Busa recognized the press. <br />Historical Committee - I~Ir. Beebe <br />Mr. Beebe announced ti~.at 'ne has been doing research at the ~Iistorical <br />IZuseum in preparation for the Susaue Centennial Celebration to be held June <br />14, 196°, since the first Council i~ieeting of aayf.ield T,aas held June 14, 1819. <br />ifr. Beebe read a fictional preview of the history, with Mayor Busa and Fariily <br />in the starring roles. <br />The flag was floum at half-mast for Danny Fisher, for three days. <br />A quarterly report of the administration will be sent to all citizens <br />of the V"illage. .Ninety-six people are involved in the present administration, <br />many have volunteered. <br />He has been working on the plaque for our veterans. <br />i~iayor Busa announced that court costs have increased from $6e20 to <br />$8.50. <br />i~ir. Sc'nmidt, seconded by i~ir. Davis, introduced Ordinance No. 1043 <br />entitled: "AN ORDIi1AD1CE PROVIDTNG FOR THE EI~iPL0YI~IENT OF LEGAL COUNSEL FOP.
