MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br />. April 15, 1968 <br />The Council of the Village of Mayfield met in regular session at ttie <br />Village hall on 1londay, April 15, 1968, at 8:00 p,m., Mayor Busa presiding. <br />The PFFledge of Allegiance to the Flag was given. <br />March meetin' betaccep~e~'asew°ri~~enby ~' Schmidt, moved that the minutes of the <br />Rol Call: Present - Mayor Busa, IKessrs. Comella, Fitz-Gerald, Jones, <br />Donaldson, Schmidt and Davis. <br />Absent - None. <br />Motion Carried <br />Minutes Accepted <br />Village Engineer - Mr. Peterson. <br />Mr. Peterson reported that representatives from the Village had met with <br />the State Officials and discussed the widening of SOM Center Road. The State agreed <br />to try to move up the widening date by a year; however, resurfacing has to come <br />first. <br />Alr, Edelman asked Mr. Peterson to checlt on the final cost of Zander Road <br />paving. Air. Peterson will do this. <br />The rubbish in Worton Park Creels was discussed. Mr. Peterson said that <br />it would be difficult to stop neighboring mun~.cipalities from throwing rubbish into <br />it. He thought that the Board of Health might help. Mr. Leitch, a resident of <br />Worton Parlc, said that he would contact the people in Worton Park about it. Mr. <br />Leitch will also call Mr, Peterson when the problem is at its peak. <br />iKayor Busa read a letter from Dr. Lawrence Schriber, 925 Worton Park, <br />concerning the sewer problem. <br />Mr. Bardou's and Mr, Nlorgan's agreement with Mr. Russo was discussed. Mr. <br />Schmidt read the minutes of the January 1966 meeting, w'nich stated that the grading <br />would be done within six months. Mr, Russo explained that, after a two-year delay, <br />Air. Bardou has just tied into the sewer= also the buildings of Mr. Morgan have to <br />be taken down. before the grading can be completed. Mayor Busa asked Mr. D'Agostino <br />to call a meeting of Mr. Russo and the parties involved. <br />Safety and Service - Mr. Schmidt. <br />He read the minutes of the April. 7, 1968 meeting. <br />The Erieway Service Company was given the bid of $85.00 to clean all of <br />the streets. This will be coordinated with the striping of the roads, <br />Nir. Davis, seconded by Mr. Fitz-Gerald, made a motion to advertise for <br />bids for a four-door sedan for the Police Department. <br />Roll Call: Ayes - Messrs, Comella, Fitz-Gerald, Jones, Donaldson, Schmidt <br />and Davis. <br />Nays - None. <br />Motion Carried. <br />
