3. <br />Village Engineers could not, get inyalved because they were lead to believe that money <br />was owed to the Engineer. Mr. Russo said that the paving would be completed as soon <br />as possible. <br />Mr. Schmidt, seconded by Mr. Davis, moved that Ordinance No, 1068, entitled: "AN <br />ORDINANCE TO SUPPLEMENT ORDINANCE N0. 705, ENTITLED: ~~AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE ZONING <br />ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE BY TRANSFERRING CERTAIN PROPERTY-~ON~THE-WEST SIDE OF SOM <br />CENTER ROAD TO A CLASS U-3 USE DISTRICT (APARTMENT HOU$E)' BY PERMITTING TO A LIMITED <br />EXTENT THE CONSTRUCTION OF APARTMENT HOUSES NOT MORE THAN EIGHT STORIES IN HEIGHT IN <br />A CERTAIN PORTION OF SAID PROPERTY," be referred to the Planning and Zoning Commission <br />for its recommendation. <br />Roll Ca11: Ayes - Messrs. Comella, Fitz-Gerald,-Jones, Donaldson, Schmidt and Davis. <br />Nays - None. <br />Motion Carried <br />The small service truck will be completed tomorrow, July 16, 1968. <br />The Chrysler Police Car is back on the road. <br />The telephones are not completed. <br />Mr. Fisher's lawyer is checking the agreement made between Mildred and Don Fisher <br />and the Village of'Mayfield for leasing of the Fisher lot for recreational purposes. <br />Mayor Busa asked Mr. Russo what happened to "Mr. Steak House." Mr. Russo said that <br />the final plans have been approved and the~County Health Board has approved the sewage <br />system. <br />A Task Force Committee will be held July 17, 1968, at the Cleveland City Council <br />Chambers, to discuss the location~of Interstate 290. Mr. Davis, seconded by Mr. <br />Schmidt, made a motion authorizing Councilman C. A. Fitz-Gerald, Jr., to attend the <br />meeting and cast a vote if necessary, against location of the Freeway in Mayfield <br />Village. <br />Roll Call:, Ayes - Messrs. Comella, Fitz-Gerald, Jones, Donaldson, Schmidt and Davis. <br />Nays - None. <br />Motion Carried. <br />A Committee composed of the following, Police Chief Shortle, Mr. Schmidt and Mr. <br />Edelman, will attend a hearing at Columbus, Ohio, July 30, 1968, at 1:OO.p.m. to <br />oppose the request for a liquor permit at Interstate 271 and Wilson Mi11s Road. <br />Mayor Busa read a letter of resignation from Marie Brown, as a member of the Safety <br />and Service Committee. Mayor Busa then appointed Rosemary Myles to succeed Marie <br />Brown. <br />Mr. Schmidt, seconded by rir. Davis, moved that the resignation of Marie Brown be <br />accepted and the appointment, of Rosemary Myles be confirmed. <br />Roll Call: Ayes - Messrs. Comella, Fitz-Gerald, Jones, Donaldson, Schmidt and Davis. <br />Nays - None. <br />Motion Carried <br />
