<br />The method of disposing of Fire Truck No, 1 was discussed. Mr, Davis was asked to
<br />contact Mr. Parks aobut it.
<br />Mr. Comella announced that.pertinent~facts-concerning our insurance wild. be presented
<br />at the Special Meeting, July 18, 1968.
<br />The Village Employees',Annual Picnic will be held at Saxon's Acres, July 20, 1968,
<br />at 1:30 p.m.
<br />The possibility of obtaining a carnival for Home Day at Mayfield Village was dis-
<br />cussed. A definite decision will, be made later,
<br />The new Police Car is in operation.
<br />The County Commissioners have signed a lease giving the Village of Mayfield permission
<br />to use, for recreational purposes, for a ten-year period, for the sum of $1.00 per
<br />year, ten acres of land near Beech Hill Drive,
<br />The administration was successful in having the Regional Library located on the
<br />Mayfield High School site on Wilson Mills Road.
<br />Concerning the Village Income Tax, Mr. Lockemer reported that he was at the City
<br />Division of Taxation, June.25, They .do not have an alphabetical system in order at
<br />this time. The only way that we could check is by Social Security Numbers.
<br />Mr. Davis, seconded by Mr. Fitz-Gerald, introduced Resolution No. 736, entitled:
<br />"A RESOLUTION MEMORALIZING THE CITY OF CLEVELAND AND OTHER MUNICIPALITIES IN THE
<br />CENTRAL COLLECTION AGENCX RELATING TO THE r1UNICI.PAL INCOME TAX ON NON-RESIDENT,
<br />UNINCORPORATED BUSINESSES," which caas read to Council.
<br />Mr, Schmidt, seconded by Mr, Davis, moved that the rules of law requiring a Resolution
<br />to be read on three separate occasions be suspended,
<br />Roll Call: Ayes -Messrs. Comella, Fitz-Gerald, Jones, Donaldson, Schmidt and Davis.

<br />Mayor Busa informed Mr, Russo that he owes the Village two streets, and. that the
<br />Village would like them completed as soon as possible for tax purposes. Mr, Russo
<br />assured the Council that the money is in escrow for the paving, but employees of
<br />the Engineers, Woodruff and Associates, are on strike. Mr. Weiss. stated that the
<br />
