7. <br />of SOM Center Road from White Road to Mayfield Heights. <br />Fire Department - Fire Chief Hejcl, <br />Fire Chief Hejcl was not present at the Council Meeting, due to a meeting with the <br />State Fire Inspector. He will have information concerning our rates at the next <br />Council Meeting. <br />Police Department - Police Chief Shortle. <br />Police Chief Shortle gave reports for the months of May and June, <br />Solicitor - Mr. Edelman. <br />Mr. Edelman announced that a Special Council Meeting should be held for the purpose <br />of passing Amended Bond Ordinance for Assessments on. Lander Road, on July 18th. <br />Mr. Davis, seconded by Mr. Schmidt, moved that a Special Council Meeting be held <br />Thursday, July 18, 1968, at 8:OO.p.m., for the passing of Amended Bond Ordinance <br />for Lander Road Assessments, and that notices be sent to the Councilmen. <br />Roll Call: Ayes - Messrs. Comella, Fitz-Gerald, Jones, Donaldson, Schmidt and Davis. <br />Nays - None. <br />Motion Carried <br />Mr. Schmidt, seconded by Mr. Davis, introduced Ordinance No. 1069, entitled: "AN <br />ORDINANCE Ar1ENDTNG SECTION 8 OF ORDINANCE N0. 309, THE TRAFFIC ORDINANCE, AS AMENDED, <br />RELATING TO TRAFFIC CONTROL SIGNALS," which Ordinance was read to council. <br />Mr. Davis, seconded by NIr. Schmidt, moved that the rules of law requiring an <br />Ordinance to be read on three separate occasions be suspended. <br />Roll Call: Ayes - Messrs. Comella, Fitz-Gerald, Jones, Donaldson, Schmidt and Davis. <br />Nays -None. <br />Motion Carried <br />Rules.. Suspended <br />Mr. Schmidt, seconded by Mr. Davis, moved that Ordinance No. 1069 be approved and <br />passed as read <br />Roll Call: Ayes - Messrs. Comella, Fitz-Gerald, Jones, Donaldson, Schmidt and Davis. <br />Nays - None. <br />Motion Carried <br />Ordinance Passed <br />Mr. Davis, seconded by Mr. Schmidt, introduced Ordinance No. 1070, entitled: "AN <br />ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE N0. 1047 BY ADDING SECTION 7(a), PROVIDING OVERTIME <br />COMPENSATION FOR MEMBERS OF THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT,1t which was read to Council. <br />Mr. Davis, seconded by Mr. Schmidt, moved that the rules of law requiring an Ordinance <br />to be read on three separate occasions be suspended,. <br />Roll Ca11: Ayes - Messrs. Comella, Fitz=Gerald, Jones, Donaldson, Schmidt and Davis. <br />Nays -None. <br />Motion Carried <br />Rules Suspended <br />
