(4) <br />Recreation Committee: Mr. Schmidt. <br />The recreation committee has not met since the carnival, The committee cleared <br />approximately $200.00 from their booths at the carnival. <br />I~r. Fitz-Gerald, seconded by Mr. Davis, introduced a Resolution that the money from <br />the proceeds of the ticket sales of the carnival be turned over to the recreation <br />committee, <br />Mr. Davis, seconded by AID. Jones, moved that the rules of law requiring a Resolution <br />to be read on three separate occasions, be suspended. <br />Roll Call: Ayes - Messrs. Comella, Fitz-Gerald, Jones, Donaldson, Schmidt, Davis. <br />Nays - None. <br />Motion Carried. <br />Rules Suspended. <br />Mr. Davis, seconded by rir. Fitz-Gerald, moved that the Resolution be approved and <br />passed as read. <br />Roll,Call: Ayes - Aiessrs. Comella, Fitz-Gerald, Jones., Donaldson, Schmidt, Davis. <br />Nays - None. <br />Motion Carried. <br />Resolution Passed. <br />Mr, Schmidt announced plans for a skating pond on the Fisher lot and a physical <br />education program for the winter. Piayor Busa complimented Mr. Schmidt and his <br />committee for their fine work. <br />Union Cemetery: Air. Donaldson. <br />The Committee is seeking ideas from the Garden Club and the Community Club for <br />improving the appearance of the front of the cemetery. <br />Streets and Roads: Mr. Fitz-Gerald. <br />Pir. Fitz-Gerald read the Minutes of the September 15, 1968, meeting. <br />Mayor Busa announced the appointment of i~ir. William Boger to the Streets and Roads <br />Committee. <br />Mr. Schmidt, seconded by NIr. Davis, moved that the appointment be confirmed. <br />Roll Call: Ayes - Messrs. No Report. <br />Historian: llr. Beebe. No Report. <br />Planning and Zonings Mr. Fitz-Gerald, <br />NIr. Fitz-Gerald read the minutes of the September 9, 1968 meeting. <br />The decision of joining in the membership of Regional Planning will be tabled until <br />we hear from Carl Bohm. <br />
