(6) Engineer: I~r. Peterson Worton Park Paving is basicly finished. Plans for the water line for Dr. Ackly have been submitted, signed and approved. Solicitor: Mr. Edelman. He presented need for a Resolution accepting the tax rate for the coming year. Mr. Davis, seconded by Mr. Fitz-Gerald, introduced Resolution No. 748, entitled: "A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE AMOUNTS AND RATES AS DETERMINED BY THE BUDGET COM~fISSTON AND AUTHORIZING THE NECESSARY TAX LEVIES AND CERTIFYING THEM TO THE COUNTY AUDITOR." Mr. Schmidt, seconded by Mr. Davis, moved that the rules of law requiring a Resolution to be read on three separate occasions, be suspended. Roll Ca11: Ayes - Messrs. Comella, Fitz-Gerald, Jones, Donaldson, Schmidt, Davis. Nays - None. Motion Carried. Rules Suspended. Mr. Comella, seconded by ivir. Resolution Passed. Clerk-Treasurer: Mr. Lockemer. So far the collections from our Village Income Tax have been more than expected. Finance Committee: -Mr. Davis: The Finance Committee met and signed the. vouchers. Mr. Davis, seconded by Pir. Fitz-Gerald, introduced Pay Ordinance No, 541-P, and moved its passage. The Finance Committee will meet the first of October, to determine the status of the budget. rir. Davis has received requests from the neighboring municipalities concerning our gun legislation and curfew laws. They will be discussed at the next Safety and Service meeting. Mr. Comella° He commented on visability on coming from Robley Lane to Wilson Mills Road. This problem is being checked by the.Streets and Roads Committee and also the Safety and Service Committee.
