6. <br />Police_DeQartment - Chief Shortle <br />Reported five burglaries for the month of April. <br />Village E~neer - Mr. Hovancsek <br />Mr. Fitz-Gerald, seconded by Mr. Davis, introduced Ordinance No. G9-20, <br />entitled: "AN ORDINANCE ACCEk?TING THE BID OF THE AGRESTA CONSTRUCTION <br />COMPANY FOR THE REPAIR OF TWO PORTIONS OF KENWOOD DRIVE." <br />Mr. Comella, seconded by Mr. Schmidt, moved that the rules of law requiring <br />an ordinance to be read on three separate occasions be suspended. <br />Roll Call: Ayes - Messrs. Comella, Fitz-Gerald, Bordonaro, Donaldson, Schmidt <br />and Davis. <br />Nays - None <br />Motion Carried <br />Ordinance Passed <br />The Water Department will reimburse the Village for opening of the street. <br />Mr. Hovancsek reported that he had attended a drainage review meeting in <br />connection with the widening of SOM Center Road. The Council, Mayor and <br />rir. Hovancsek thought that it would be wise to form a committee to study the <br />feasibility of an extension of the 72 inch main. <br />Mr. Davis, Mr. Fitz-Gerald, Mr. Comella will act as a committee of Council <br />to work with the Safety and Service Committee. This combined committee will <br />report at the May 1, 1969 Safety and Service meeting. <br />The Village Clerk has received our final payment of approximately $8,000.00 <br />on the Local Government Funds. <br />Mr. Edelman <br />Pir. Davis, seconded by Mr. Schmidt, introduced Ordinance No. 69-21, entitled: <br />"AN ORDINANCE GRANTING THE COUNTY ENGINEER PERMISSION TO MAINTAIN THE COUNTY <br />ROADS LOCATED WITHIN THE VILLAGE." <br />Mr. Davis, seconded by Mr. Schmidt, moved that the rules of law requiring an <br />ordinance to be read on three separate occasions be suspended. <br />Roll Call: Ayes - Messrs.
