9. <br />1 <br />Assessment Bond Retirement Fund of the Village. Mr. Lockemer, the officer in <br />charge of this Fund, accepted both issues at an interest rate of 5% <br />Mr. Schmidt, seconded by Mr. Fitz-Gerald, moved that Council suspend the rules of <br />law requiring an ordinance to be read on three separate occasions, for the <br />purpose of voting on Ordinance No. 69-10, entitled: "AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND <br />SECTIONS 30.4, 30.5, and 30.6 OF ORDINANCE N0. 763, AS AMENDED BY ORDINANCE <br />N0. 1000, WITH RESPECT TO AREA REGULATIONS, YARD REGULATIONS AND OFF-STREET <br />PARKING AND LOADING REGULATIONS IN PRODUCTION-DISTRIBUTION DISTRICTS, OFFICE- <br />LABORATORY DISTRICTS, AND MOTOR SERVICE DISTRICTS." <br />Roll Call: Ayes - Messrs. Comella, Fitz-Gerald, Bordonaro, Donaldson, Schmidt <br />and Davis. <br />Nays - None <br />Motion Carried <br />Rules Suspended <br />Mr. Fitz-Gerald, seconded by Mr. Schmidt, moved that Ordinance No. 69-10 be <br />approved and passed as read. <br />Roll Call: Ayes - Messrs. Fitz-Gerald, Donaldson, Schmidt and Davis. <br />Nays - Aiessrs. Comella and Bordonaro. <br />Motion Carried <br />Ordinance Passed <br />1 <br />1 <br />Mr. Comella - He reported that he had conducted a poll;;ron "density" in the <br />Industrial Park, felt that he was voting for the wishes for the majority of <br />the people. He had a complaint on dogs roaming at large, up and down the streets. <br />He felt that we were spending a lot of money on buses because we had no side- <br />walks on Wilson Mills Road. He registered a complaint on trucks being parked <br />in driveways and not properly housed; also a complaint against the Gullo and Post <br />houses <br />The Mayor asked Safety and Service Committee to look into the matter of the <br />Gullo house. He stated that both properties have been under surveillance by the <br />building department. <br />Mr. Schmidt told of his experience with picking up a stray cat. He felt that it <br />would be wise to hire a part time dog warden. He will review it again at the <br />Safety and Service Committee. Mr. D'Agostino will check on a man in University <br />Heights who can be hired to pick up dogs. <br />Mr. Bordonaro - He mentioned the referendum that was placed on the ballot a year <br />and a half ago and offered his apologies for the anon support of his felloca <br />Councilmen <br />rir. Ed Schultz - 6862 Metro Park Drive - He feels that Council has arrogated <br />themselves in not voting for the voice of the people. He felt that Council did <br />not receive or make enough phone calls to see how the people felt. He inquired <br />about the Mayor's feeling on the matter of amending Ordinance No. 69-10. <br />Mayor Busa replied that he did not vote in Council and had abstained and passed <br />in Planning and Zoning, leaving the six Councilmen to make the final decision <br />for the good of the people. <br />
