<br />9~ <br />Mrs. Case - Beecher's Brook - Asked the Engineer what the solution had been <br />concerning the overflow of the creek. <br />The Engineer reported that Mr. Schmidt would review it at the next Safety & <br />Service meeting. <br />Mr. Castelucci - Beecher's Brook Rd. - Reported that his back yard is being <br />washedtaway. He wondered who is responsible for it. <br />Mr. Hovanesek - Went through the subdivision with Mr. Caplan a few weeks <br />ago. Noted that the creek had been relocated by the developer, but not ', <br />of such•a size to carry flood waters, <br />Mrs. Case - She wondered how the developer was able to reroute the creek, <br />Mr. Hovanesek - The developer was given permission by the previous Engineer. <br />Mr. Schmidt - He reported that the state has been contacted concerning the <br />possibility of rerouting the creek, and were giving it some consideration. <br />We have also gone to Congressman Vanik. <br />Mr. Briggs - 6444 Wilson Mills Rd. Mr. Briggs stated that nett only was the <br />creek diverted but the developer did away with the retention .basin. His wall <br />is practically nonexistanto The water will eventually get back of the county <br />wall into Mr. Pavlinsky°s yard, <br />Mayor Busa - We are trying to solve this problem. It involves a lot of expense. <br />Mr. Schmidt- Will it help when the 72" sewer is installed on SOM Center Rd: <br />Mr. Hovanesek- Mr. Hovanesek°s answer was no. His answer was also no to the <br />question can the creek be filled; you cannot change a natural water way unless <br />it is a reasonable shift within a total parcel. <br />Mr. Pavlinsky.- Wondered who will clean the creek under under Wilson Mills Rd. <br />Mayor Busa hopes that the county will clean out the creek like they have in . <br />past years. The water situation will be given further studyo It is a costly <br />proposition. <br />At this point of the meeting Mayor Busa was passed a note to respond to an <br />urgent phone call from home. Mayor Busa passed his gavel to the President of <br />Council, Mr. Davis, to continue the meeting and Mayor Busa legit the hall to <br />make his call. <br />S ~veral citizens spoke about `their water problems in general., 'due to the many <br />rains the day before. <br />Mr. Davis, seconded by Mr. Schmidt, moved that the meeting be adjourned. <br />Roll Call: Ayes - Messrs. Comella, Fitz-Gerald, Bordonaro, Donaldson, <br />Schmidt and Davis. <br />Nays - None <br />Motion Carried <br />
