2. <br />He suggested a fence or a gentle sloping of the walls by the developer, as a <br />safety measure for our neighboring municipalities, <br />Beecher's Brook -After making a survey, Mr. Hova¢'lesek determined that Beecher's <br />Brook should be deepened and widened in order to handle the run off of watero <br />He will finish the cost analysis and complete the report before the next Safety <br />and Service meeting. The next question is who will pay for it. <br />Ravine Drive Sewer- Mr. Hovanesek reported that the storm sewer at the end of <br />Ravine Drive is inadequate, this results in clogging and flooded basements on <br />Robley Lane. The estimated cost to replace it is $ 4,900. Again the question <br />of who should pay for it arises. It was suggested that this subject .be referred <br />to Safety and Service Committee> <br />Committee Reports <br />Architectural Board - Mr. Comella <br />Mr. Comella read the minutes of the June 12, and July 10 meetings. He reported <br />a total approved valuation,to date of $ 2,158,600. <br />Building Committee ~ Mr. Bordonaro <br />The Building Committee met June 27, 1969. They recommended that the Police <br />Offices be air conditioned and that the exterior of the Town Hall be painted. <br />These recommendations will go to the Safety and Service Committee for study> <br />Recreation Committee - Mr. Schmidt <br />Mr, Schmidt read the proposed budget for 1970 of $ 5,195000 He. reported that <br />the acquired back stop needed repair, and it was thought best to use it for <br />repair material. Mayor Busa spoke of another source for a backstop and <br />grading of baseball diamonds on the new village property. Mr, Deal and Mr, <br />Schmidt urged the activity of the parents, <br />Union Cemetery - Mr. Donaldson <br />A meeting of the Union Cemetery Committee will be held next weeko Mr. <br />Donaldson hopes for something concrete concerning the improvement of the front <br />of the cemetery. They have a boy on pay roll for cutting of the grass. Mayor <br />Busa asked that the fencing or schrubbery be expedited as soon as possible. <br />Mr. Donaldson, seconded by Mr, Bordonaro , introduced a Resolutipn No. 761, <br />entitled: " A RESOLUTION TO TRANSFER THE SUM OF $ 1000 FROM THE CONTINGENCY <br />FUND OF THE GENERAL FUND. TO THE SESQUICENTENNIAL FUND AND TO PROVIDE, FOR A <br />LOAN OF $ 400000 DOLLARS FROM THE GENE$AL FUND TO THE SESQUICENTENNIAL FUND." <br />Mr. Schmidt, seconded by Mr. Davis, moved that the rules of law requiriing <br />a re~olixtion to be read on three separate occasions be susp~erided. <br />Roll Call: Ayes - Messrs. Comella, Fitz-Gerald, Bordonaro, Donaldson, Schmidt <br />and Davis, <br />Nays - None <br />
