,~ MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING Village of Mayfield Sept. 15, 1969 The Council of the Village of Mayfield met in regualr session at the Village Hall on Monday Sept. 15, 1969 at 8:10 P.M. , Mayor Busa, presiding. The pledge of Allegiance to the Flag was given. Roll Call: Present - Mayor Busa, Messrs. Comella, Fitz-Gerald, Bordonaro, Donaldson, Schmidt and Davis. Absent - None Mr. Donaldson asked that a correction of the minutes be made on Page 6, paragraphs 5 and 7 - instead of`~ir. Donaldson " had seen","were" and instead of " the issue" , " forced-the developers to start the annexation proceedings". Mr. Schmidt, seconded by Mr. Davis, moved that the minutes be accepted as corrected. Roll Call: Ayes - Messrs. Comella, Fitz-Gerald, Bordonaro, Donaldson, Schmidt, . and Davis. .Nays - None Motion Carried ' Minutes Accepted Old Business: Annexation - The County Commissioners will hold an open hearing Nov. 10, 1969 at the Cuyahoga County Administration Building. They may make a decision the same day or reserve the right to vote within four days. Mayor Busa thought it would be nice for our people to shoal interest by attending. Local Income Tax - Mr. Lockemer reported that the W-2 forms are still being processed. Mr. Corsi will hold a meeting with.,~fayfield Heights, Gates Mills and Mayfield Village to determine the correct distribution for e~cli Village. Mr. Lockemer reported that there had been a death in the family of Mr. Edelman. The Mayor and Council will send the family a personal note of sympathy. Standard Oil Case - The date of the. trial of the Standard Oil Co. versus the Village of Mayfield will be Nov. 1~ 1969. Village Picnic = Mr. Comella reported that everyone who attended had a good time watching the games and the fire works. Special thanks were given to Charlotte, Don and 'Bill Boger, Tony Starc, Cathy Schulz, Sam and June Shannon, Jim and~Ruth Gilles, Bob Hopkins and Chief Shortie. A financial report will be given at the next Council meeting. ~~~ 1-290 - There will be a meeting with the Task Force Committee and representatives from the Cities and Villages, Sept..l6, 1969 at 1:30 P.M. at the Cuyahoga County Administration Building. Mr. Fitz-Geral"c1 has been assigned as alternate to act in the absence of Mr. Edelman, Mr. Schmidt is second alternate.
