r 2® Widening of SOM Center Road - A conference wa~ held with the State in reference to the widening of SOM. The State expressed a desire to cooperate. They may have an alternate solution for our serer problem. A meeting will be held at lO:OO A.M., Oct. 9..,1969 at the Mayfield Heights City Hall to discuss the general widening of SOM Center Road. Committee deports: `Architectural Board - Mr. Comella Mr. Comella read the minutes of the;Sept. 11, 1969 meeting of the Architec- tural Board, He reported a total approved valuation to date of X2,379,900. Building Committee - Mr. Bordonaro Mr. Bordonaro reported that the Building Committee met Sept. 5, 1969 and reviewed t_he minutes of the past meetings. Most of the recommendations have been completed with the exception of the repair of the roof and gutters of the Town Hall. This has been referred to the Safety and Service Committee. Recreation Committee - Mr. Schmidt The Recreation Committee met Sept. ~, 1969 and set up a tentative fall schedule which includes baton lessons for girls,physical fitness for women, a little theater workshop, meal and older teen agers volley ball team at~ the Mayfield Center Gym. The skating rink will be improved this year with a drain, so the water will not stand all summer. An all star game was played at the Village F~,.cnic . Streets and Roads - Mr. Fitz-Gerald Mr. Fitz-Gerald has been in touch with the Engineer concerning the roads in Az.ntree Park, that had been approved by the previous Engineer. After examination, Mr. Hovancsek found some things that need to be corrected. This will be done before recommendation of acceptance. Mayor Busa appointed Mr. Erling Wennerstrom to the Streets and Roads Committee. `~ Mr. Fitz-Gerald, seconded by Mr. Comella, moved that we accept the appointment of Mr. Wennerstrom to .the Streets and Roads Committee.
