Architectural Board Committee - Mr. Comella Mr. Comella reported a total valuation to date of $ 2,600,200.00 Building Committee - Mr. Borclonaro The Building Cod~mittee met Oct. 16 at the home of William Boger. They discussed the fire and recommended that before anything is done to restore the building, all avenues be explored. Recreation Committee - Mr. Schmidt - No Report Union Cemetery - Mr. Donaldson Mr. Donaldson will explore other avenues for planting in the front of the cemetery this week. Civil Defense- Mr. Bordonaro - No Report Mayor's Advisory Committee - Mr. Fitz-Gerald - No Report Planning and Zoning - Mr. Fitz-Gerald - No meeting was held. Safety and Service - Mr. Schmidt The Safety and Service Committee recommended that no stop sign be erected ' at the corner of Walnut and Oakwood. After discussion and the reading of a letter from Jack Sutton, street representative, the matter was put to a vote. Mr. Schmidt, seconded by Mr. Comella, made motion that a atop sign be erected at the corner of Walnut and Oakwood Drive. Roll Call:. Ayes - Messrs. Comella, Bordonaro and Schmidt. Nays - Messrs. Fitz-Gerald, Donaldson and Davis. Council recessed for l0 minutes. After the recess Mayor Busa voted."'No" to break the tie. Motion did not carry The new roof on the Village Hall had been completed before the fire. The company was contacted before the gutters were installed. The safety. and Service Committee voted to have the Service Department use their own discretion~as to the amount of salt and cinders used on the roads. ' The Bondi dwelling house on Wilson Mills Road has been used as a two family residence since 1926: This is a non-conforming use according to our present zoning.
