<br />5• <br />AND PROVIDING AS TO ROOMERS IN CLASS U-1 AND U-2 USE DISTRICTS, AND SECTION <br />4(C) LIMITING THE NUMBER OF PERSONS WHO MAY OCCUPY A DWELLING UNIT." <br />Ordinance No. 69-43 was placed on first reading. A public hearing will be <br />held on Dec. 15, 1969 at 7:45 P.M. concerning this ordinance. <br />Olav Danielson, 6814 Thornapple Drive, Mayfield Village, was a passenger <br />on the plane that crashed in Mexico City. Mr. Danielson helped to rescue <br />two people from the wreckage. Mayor Busa will send Mr. Danielson a letter <br />of commendation. <br />Finance Committee - Mr. Davis <br />The finance committee met Oct. 14, lg6g and approved the vouchers. Mr. <br />Davis, seconded by Mr. Fitz-Gerald, introduced Pay Ordinance No. 554-P. <br />Roll Call: Ayes - Messrs. Comella, Fitz-Gerald,Bordonaro, Donaldson, Schmidt <br />and Davis. <br />Nays - None <br />Motion Carried <br />Pay Ordinance Approved <br />Mr. Davis reported on our financial status as of Sept. 30, 1969. <br />Service Department - Mr. Foltz . <br />Mayor Busa reported that the Service Department had been busy cleaning <br />up after the fire and had done a very good job. Mr. D'Agostino is on vacation: <br />Fire Department - Capt. Whiteman <br />The amount of fire calls has almost doubled for this year as compared to <br />last year. Chief Hejcl is at school in Chicago. <br />Police Department - Police Chief Shortle <br />Chief Shortle gave a report for the month of September.' A total of 184 <br />citations were given.. <br />Village Engineer - Mr. Hovancsek <br />Mr. Hovancsek reported on Kenwood North, Beta Drive and Aintree Park Drive. <br />Mr. Hovancsek contacted the Independence Excavating Company. They will put <br />new concrete into the large cracks, but the weather may be a hindrance. Mr. <br />Hovancsek will see if temporary tarring can be done for the winter. <br />The mitre boxes were broken and pins were missing in a couple of instances <br />in Aintree Park. <br />Solicitor - Mr. Edelman - Nothing further to report <br />Clerk- Treas. - Mr. Lockemer <br />Mr. Lockemer reported that one bid had been received for Comprehensive <br />General Liability Insurance from The James & Manchester Company for <br />$ 2,440.00.
