MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br />Village of.Mayfield <br />Novo 17, 1968 <br />The Council of the Village of Mayfield met in regular session at the Mayfield <br />Center School on Monday, Nov. 17, 1869 at 8:15 P.M., Mayor Busa, Chairman, <br />presiding. <br />The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag was given. <br />Roll Call: Present - Mayor Busa, Messrs. Comella, Fitz-Gerald, Bordonaro, <br />Donaldson, Schmidt and Davisa <br />Absent - None <br />Mr. Schmidt requested that the minutes of the previous meeting be read to <br />Council. Mr. Lockemer read the minutes of the Oct. 20, 1968 meeting. <br />Mro Sohmidt, seconded by Mro Bordonaro, moved that the minutes be accepted <br />as read. <br />Roll Call Ayes - Messrs. Comella, Fitz-Gerald, Bordonaro, Donaldson, <br />Schmidt and Davis. <br />Nays - None <br />Motion Carried <br />Mihutes Approved <br />` Mayor Busa congratulated Mr. Boger and Mro Leeoh for being elected as our <br />two new councilmen, <br />Old Business: <br />Annexation - Mr. Edelman reported that the hearing for the annexation was <br />held on Novo 10, 1969 at 2:30 -5:30 P.M A lot of people attended and <br />assisted. Mr. Edelman has no inclination as to what will happen. The <br />Commissioners can decide any time within 90 days. The Hearing is now closed. <br />Mayor Busa thanked Mr, Edelman, Mr. Fludine and Mr. Duffy for their excellent <br />presentation and performance for the benefit of Mayfield Village. Mr. Kilroy <br />from Sandalwood understood that the Commissioners had asked that an attempt <br />be made to settle our differences. Wondered what had been done about ito <br />Mayor Busa and the Council replied that we have no differences with the <br />developers and they were completely satisfied when they left the conference <br />table. <br />Mro Schmidt wondered i'f it would be wise. if we took the initiative and sent a <br />formal letter to the developers asking them to discuss the situation with <br />the Mayor and Council. , <br />Mr. Bordonaro suggested that a committee be appointed , if it was decided <br />that a letter was not in order. <br />Mr. Comella thought that the developers felt that they were not welcome in <br />Mayfield Village because of the unhealthy climate created by the actions of <br />the Civic League. <br />
