<br />Auer discussion, Mr. Schmidt, seconded by Mr. Comella, made a motion to send a <br />formal letter to the developers, indicating a willingness to discuss the matter, <br />Roll Call: Ayes - Messrs. Comella, Fitz-Gerald, Bordonaro, Donaldson, Schmidta <br />Nays - Mr. Davis. <br />Motion Carried <br />Mr. FS.tz-Gerald, seconded by Mr. Davis, made a motion that Mayor Busa and. our <br />lawyers document a letter and forward to the developers. <br />Roll Call: Ayes - Messrs. Comella, Fitz-Gerald, Bordonaro, Donaldson, Schmidt <br />and Davis. <br />Nays - None <br />Motion Carried <br />Mr. Comella explained his remarks to the Press concerning Mr. Duffy , and <br />stated that he was misquoted. Mr. Edelman will write a letter to the Editor of <br />the Press. Mayor Busa assured Mr. Comella that the members of Council under <br />stood his position. <br />Freeway I-290 - A letter has been written expressing the feeling of Mayfield <br />Village against the Northerly Route. <br />Widening of SOM Center Road - Mr. Edelman read an article from the Press , <br />stating the State's approval of the proposed change of the sewer line in <br />Mayfield Village. Mr. Hovancsek said that a letter had not been received <br />as yet from Mr. Charles Urich confirming this report. <br />Village Hall Fire - Evaluations are still being made. After all is summed up, <br />a meeting will be called with Council and the results will be gone over in de- <br />tail. <br />School Board Recreation Plan -The School Board has made a proposal to the <br />Village for the joint use of the school recreational facilities. The Village <br />would appropriate $ 6000000 to be matched by the School Board. The Board <br />would then determine what improvements would be made. <br />Ordinance No. 69-43, entitled: " AN ORDINANCE N0. 159, THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF <br />THE VILLAGE OF HAYFIELD, BY ADDING SECTIONS 4(a) AND 4(b) DEFINING " FAMILY" <br />AND PROVIDING AS TO ROOMERS IN CLASS U-1 AND U-2 USE DISTRICTS, AND SECTION <br />4(c) LIMITING THE NUMBER OF PERSONS WHO MAY OCCUPY A DWELLING UNIT," was <br />placed on secondreadingo Mr. Fitz-Gerald read a recommendation from the <br />Planning and Zoning Commission that the Ordinance be accepted. A public <br />hearing will be held concerning this ordinance , Dec. 15, 1969 at 7^45 P.M. <br />before the Council meeting, <br />Butternut Cul-D-Sac Planting - Mr. Comella reported that a Special Meeting <br />of the Architectural Board had been called and had approved the planting. <br />Mr. Comella thanked the Kenwood Homeowners Association for the project. They <br />are working on the possibility of lighting it. <br />2. <br />01av Danielson - The Mayor and Mr. Edleman drew up a letter of commendation <br />and sent it to Mr. Danielson. <br />
