3~ <br />New Business: <br />Report. on our Road Projects - Mr. Hovancsek repor~d that the request to study <br />our improvement project in reference to the allocating of funds realized <br />from the State Bond Issue.No. 1, voted by the people of Ohio in Nov. 1968, of <br />approximately $ 750,000,OOOo00, had been sent to the State. <br />The Mayor and Council cordially invited the two new members of Council to the <br />Council workshops for the balance of the year. <br />Council recessed for ten minutes. .Council reconvened at 9:35 P.h1. <br />Architectural Board - Mr. Comella <br />Mr. Comella read the minutes of the last two meetings. Total approved <br />valuation to date ~ 2,7559600,00 <br />Building Committee - Mr. Bordonaro <br />The Committee met Nov. 6, 1969, Mr. Bordonaro reported that we have no <br />building and the school is in pretty good shape, <br />Recreation Committee - Mr. Schmidt <br />The Recreation Committee met Oct. 21, 1969 and el.ecte.d officers. They have <br />found that adult programs are not so well accepted. They will concentrate <br />on the children's programs. Debbie Owens is having great success with her <br />baton class. The Recreation Committee has asked for $ 4,000000 of Village <br />Funds in their budget for 1970. <br />Mayfield Union Cemetery - Mro Donaldson <br />Mr. Donaldson has nothing to report to date on the planting. Mr. Robert <br />Mikula, Jr. has been hired for maintenance and grave digging. <br />Streets and Roads Mr. Fitz-Gerald <br />Mro Hovancsek said that he had written letters to Engineers of Aintree Pk. <br />and the Hickory Hill Subdivisions, asking for the finishing of a few things. <br />Mayor Busa said that he had received a call from Mr. DeGerolimo, stating <br />that he would start tomorrow on the finishing of Hickory Hill streets. The <br />Mayor thanked A~Ir. Hovancsek for his prompt action in this matter. <br />The State Inspector has condemned the Village Hall Building. If we decide <br />to repair the Town Hall, it will cost considerably more than the amount of <br />money received from the Insurance Company to make it conform to State <br />Building Codes. <br />Old Police Reoords - The matter of storing or destroying the old Police <br />Records was discussed. Mr. Edelman informed the Council that a record's <br />committee should be formed to take inventory and certain legal steps must <br />be taken to dispose of them. Mr. Davis suggested that the first check and <br />citation issued by the. Village be placed in the corner stone of the new <br />building. <br />
