MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING Village of Mayfield March 16, 1970 The Council of the Village of Mayfield met in regular session at St. Bartholomew Church on Monday March 16, 1970 at 8:00 PM, Mayor Buses, presiding. The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag was given. Roll Call: Present - Mayor Busa, Messrs. Leech, Fitz-Gerald, Bordonaro, Boger, Schmidt and Davis. . Absent - None Mayor Busa stated that the minutes of the February 16, 1970 meeting, on page 5 should read that Mr. Asamoto will be paid $5.00 per proposal instead of $5.00 per hour. Mr. Leech, seconded by Mr. Fitz-Gerald, moved that the minutes of the February 16, 1970 meeting be approved as corrected. Roll Call: Ayes - Messrs. Leech, Fitz-Gerald, Bordonaro, Boger, Schmidt and Davis. Nays - None Motipn Carried Minutes Accepted Old Businesses Annexation - Mayor Buses stated that it had been reported that one of the Councilmen in ~ Highland Heights was proposing to repeal the Resolution for Annexation. The date for ~ the next hearing for the annexation is May 21, 1970. City Income Tax Mrso Maynard attended the Tax meeting on March 11, 1970. The first print outs for 1g6g on the business establishments were received. W-2 listings will be given at a later date. A short seminar on the method of processing will be held for the Mayors and Managers Association on March 26 at 10:00 AM. Freewa, I-290 Mro Hovancsek has not heard of anything new. Mayor Buses asked him to keep in contact with this developments SOM Center Widening Mr, Hovancsek reported that they Nape to let the contracts in June, 1970. They are patching the chuck holes on SOM between Mayfield Rd. and Wilson Mills. New Business: Water Shut-Off Moratorium - Mayor Buses asked if this situation had affected our build- ing in the suburbs, Mr, D'Agostino said that it had not so far, Communit Club Easter E Hunt - The Mayor directed the department Heads to cooperate ~, with the Community Club for this event. Regional Library - The ground breaking ceremony for the Regional Library was held on March 7, This was a very successful event. The Mayor attended with several Councilmen.
