3• <br />Ordinance No.. 70-5, entitled: '} AN ORDINANCE. PRESCRIBING SALARIES, RATES OF COMPENSA- <br />_ TION AND VACATIONS OF CERTAIN EMPLOYEES OF THE VILLAGE OF HAYFIELD BEGINNING AS OF <br />JANUARY 1, 1970", was introduced January 19,, 1970 by Mr. Fitz-Gerald. <br />Ordinance No. 70-5 was given its second reading. <br />Mr. Schmidt, seconded by Mr. Davis, moved that the rules of law requiring an ordinance <br />to be read on three separate occasions be suspended. <br />Roll Calla Ayes - Messrs. Leech, Fitz-Gerald, Bordonaro, Boger, Schmidt and Davis. <br />Nays - None <br />Motion Carried <br />Rules Suspended <br />Mr. Schmidt, seconded by Mr. Bordonaro, moved that Ordinance No. 70-5 be approved and <br />passed as read. <br />Roll Calla Ayes - Messrs. Leech, Fitz-Gerald, Bordonaro, Boger, Schmidt and Davis. <br />Nays - None <br />Motion Carried <br />Ordinance Passed <br />The budget will be re-examined in July to consider an additional pay increase. <br />Architectural Board - Mr. Leech <br />The Architectural Board met March 12, 1970 and approved the plans of the Stanley Air <br />Tools, Euclid Industries and Mayfran Inc. <br />Building Committee - Mr. Bordonaro <br />The Building Committee met and checked the qld town hall. <br />They recommended that the area, by the emergency phone which was moved to our temporapy <br />location be painteda Mr. D'Agostino will check with Mr. Van Curen about placing a red <br />light over the phone. <br />Recreational Committee - Mr. Schmidt <br />Mro Schmidt read the minutes of the previous meeting. Plans are being made for their <br />summer recreation programs with Tony Starc as chairman. The committee needs the help of <br />parents. <br />Mayfield Union Cemetery - Mr. Leech <br />Mro Leech has acquired a map of the Cemetery, showing the ownership of the plotso <br />Streets and Roads - Mr. Fitz-Gerald <br />Many of the side streets are in bad condition,, Plaps are being made to get many of <br />the streets ready for acceptanceo <br />ivil Defense - Mra Boger <br />1 <br />The Civil Defense Committee met March 11, 1970 at 8x00 PM, with the Director, Mr. Tob- <br />beo Plans were outlined for their program. <br />Mayor's Advisory Committee - Mro :Fitz-Gerald <br />
