4. f ~- 1 1 Building Committee - Mr. Bordonaro - No Report Recreation Committee - Mr. Schmidt Mr. Schmidt read the minutes of the March 19, 1970 meeting. Mr. Schmidt reported that $2,000.00 had been-allocated to the Recreaaion Fund by Council. This will be done by Resolution. Mr. Schmidt, seconded by Mr. beech, introduced Resolution No. '771, entitled: A RESOLUTION TO TRANSFER .$ 2.,000.00 FROM THE GENERAL FUND'TO THE RECREATION FITND . " Mr. Bordonaro, seconded by Mr. Leech, moved that the rules of law requiring a resolution to b~e- read on three separate occasions be suspended. Roll Call: Ayes - Messrs. Leech, Fitz-Gerald, Bordonaro, Boger, Schmidt, and Davis. Nays - None Motion Carried Rules Suspended Mr. Bordonaro, seconded by Mr. Boger, moved that Resolution No. 771 be approved and passed as read. Roll Call; Ayes - Messrs. Leech, Fitz-Gerald, Bordonaro, Boger, Schmidt & Davis. Nays - None Motion Carried Resolution Adopted Mr. Schmidt recommended that Shirley Jay be appointed as Official Treasurer of the Recreation Committee. Mayor Busa appointed Shirley Jay Official Treasurer of the Recreation Committee. Mr. Schmidt, seconded by Mr. Davis, moved that the=appointment be confirmed. Roll Call: Ayes - Messrs. Leech, Fitz-Gerald, .Bordonaro, -Boger, Schma:dt & Davis. Nays - None Motion-Carried Appointment Confirmed Since the activities of the Recreation Committee center around~Mayfield Center School, Mr. Schmidt is coordinating their program with the Mayfield School Board. Mr. Schmidt outlined the summer recreation programo Mr. Edelman asl~ed Mr. Schmidt to keep the Clerk-Treas. posted concerning-the activities, so that he can notify our Insurance Company, Union Cemetery Committee - Mr. Leech The Cemetery Committee had a meeting last month and are in the process of dis- cussing a fence.
