' <br />~"'~ Village of Mayfield . <br />~-~ - June 15, 1970 <br />- The Council of the Village of Mayfield met in regular session at St. <br />Bartholomew Church on Monday9 June 15,,1970 at 8:20 P.M., Mayor Busa, <br />presiding. ~ ~ ~ ~ - <br />The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag was given. , <br />Roll Call: PRESENT: Mayor Busa, Messrs. Leech9 Boger9 Schmidt.and Davis. <br />' Mr. Bordonaro arrived~at 8:30 P.M. <br />\\~ <br />' ,. ABSENT: Mr. FitzmGerald. <br />. Also present were Messrs. Lockemer, Edelman and Hovancsek. _ <br /> <br />J <br />Mr. Edelman made a motion that the minutes of May 18, 1970 with regard to the <br />widening of SOM Center Road should read, "request is now $28,000.00 for water <br />and an. additional $12,400.00 for sewers"® ____ _ ___ - ~- <br />- \` <br />Mr. Davis9 seconded by Mr. Boger9 made a motion to accept the minutes of the . <br />May 18, 1970 meeting as amended. Roll Ca11: AYES:• Messrs. Leech, Boger, <br />Schmidt and Davis. NAYS: None. - <br />' Motion Carried <br />• Minutes Approved <br />Local Income Tax: Mr. Lockemer - Nothing new to report. <br />I-290: Mr. Hovancsek had nothing new to report. <br />Widening of SOM Center Road: Mr. Edelman reported meeting with Mayfield <br />Heights officials and the State of Ohio Highway Department and stated-that <br />the total for our village share might be $359000.00 instead of $409000.00 <br />;for the sanitary sewers and water lines and we shall have two years to pay <br />this. $12,500.00 is budgeted for this year and the balance of $79500;00 <br />can be borrowed from Special Assessment Fund. He suggested that council. <br />pass. an ordinance. <br />ORDINANCE #~JO-25: Introduced by Mr. Davis, seconded by ~~L~ Leech, <br />Ordinance #70-25, Entitled: 1°AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE ENACT-ED BY VILLAGE OF <br />MAYFIELD, CUYAHOGA COUNTY; OHIO IN THE MATTER OF THE hiF`r::.~+AFTER DESCRIBED <br />INL~'ROVEMENTS , UNDER THE SUPERVISION OF THE DI ECTOR OF iiiGn~rlAYS ." Mr. Davis,' <br />seconded by Mr, Leech, made a motion to suspend the ruins .of law requiring <br />an ordinance to be read~on three separate occasions. Roll Call: AYES: <br />Messrs.
