MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING Village of Mayfield November 16, 1970 The Council of the Village of Mayfield met in, regular session at StP Bartholomew Church. on Monday, November 16 , 1970 'at 8:15 P.M®, Mayor Busa, presiding. • The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag was•given. Roll Call: PRESENT: Mayor Busa, Messrs. Leech, Fitz- Gerald, Bordonaro, Boger, Schmidt and Davis. ABSENT: None.. Also present were Messrs. I,ockemer, Edelman, D'Agostino, Hovancsek and Chief Shortie. I~lr. Boger, seconded by Mr. Bordonaro, made a motion to accept trie minutes of the October 19, 1970 meeting as written. Roll Call: AYES: Messrs. LeecYi, Fitz-Gerald, Bordonaro, Boger, Schmidt and Davis. NAYS: None. Motion Carried Minutes Approved Mayor Busa thanked Mr. Schmidt, Council President, for presidiLlg at -the last meeting in his absence. Old Business: Freeway I-290 Proms-re.ss R_e~ort: Mr. Hovancsek: Still ac=tive but no recent activity acid was never removed from the interstate program. Local Income Tax Progress Report: Mr. Lockerner: Virtually assured of our tax money for next year and we shall receive the last quarter of this year. Liti~ anaaon: Mr. Edelman: Mr. Edelman stated that the suburbs won tt ax reciprocity case in the Common Pleas Court, but i•t is being appealed by Cleveland. Sanita~ Sewer Beech Hill and Bonnieview: Mr. Hovancsek: Mayor Busa. has sent three letters tom Puzenski asking not to build the million gallon holding tank i~~ our village but to locate it at the rear of the Mayfield Junior High School.
