MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING Village of Mayfield January 18, 1971 The Council of the Village of Mayfield met in regular session at St. Bartholomew Church on Monday, January 18, 1971 at 8:15 P.M., Mayor Busa, presiding. The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag was given. Roll Call: Present: Mayor Busa, Messrs. Leech, Fitz-Gerald, Bordonaro, Boger, Schmidt and Davis. Absent: None. ._J Also present were Messrs. Lockemer, Edelman, D'Agostino, Hovancsek and Chiefs Hejcl and Shortle. Mr. Boger, seconded by Mr. minutes of the December 21, AYES: Messrs. Fitz-Gerald, NAYS: None. Schmidt made a motion to accept the 1970 Meeting as written. Roll Call: ;Bordonaro, Boger, Schmidt and Davis. Motion Carried Minutes Approved Old Business: Freeway I-290: Mr. Hovancsek: Nothing to report. Income Tax: Mr. Lockemer: Not getting any money until further notice. Appeal is being decided in the Court of Appeals. Each municipality is serving notice for withdrawal from the Central Collection Agency before deadline of February 20; 1871. ,ORDINANCE 1-1: Mr. Bordonaro, seconded.•by Mr. Boger, introduced Ordinance 71-1, Entitled: "AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE TO PROVIDE FOR WRITTEN NOTICE OF WITHDRAWAL FROM THE AGREEMENT FOR CENTRAL COLLEC- TION OF MUNICIPAL INCOME TAXES BETWEEN THIS MUNICIPALITY AND, THE CITY OF CLEVELAND AND OTHERS." Mr. Bordonaro, seconded by Mr. Schmidt, made a motion to suspend the rules of law requiring an ordinance to be read on three separate occasions. Roll Call: AYES: Messrs. Fitz-Gerald, Bordonaro, Boger, Schmidt and Davis. NAYS: None. Motion Carried Rules Suspended Mr. Bordonaro, seconded by Mr. Boger, moved that Ordinance #71-1 be approved and passed as read.' Roll Call: AYES: Messrs. Fitz- Gerald, Bordonaro; Boger, Schmidt and Davis. NAYS: Norte. Motion Carried Ordinance Passed Cleveland Water and Sewer Tap-In: Mr. D'Agostino: Nothing to report.
