MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br />Village of Mayfield <br />January 18, 1971 <br />The Council of the Village of Mayfield met in regular session at <br />St. Bartholomew Church on Monday, January 18, 1971 at 8:15 P.M., <br />Mayor Busa, presiding. <br />The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag was given. <br />Roll Call: Present: Mayor Busa, Messrs. Leech, Fitz-Gerald, <br />Bordonaro, Boger, Schmidt and Davis. <br />Absent: None. <br />._J <br />Also present were Messrs. Lockemer, Edelman, D'Agostino, Hovancsek <br />and Chiefs Hejcl and Shortle. <br />Mr. Boger, seconded by Mr. <br />minutes of the December 21, <br />AYES: Messrs. Fitz-Gerald, <br />NAYS: None. <br />Schmidt made a motion to accept the <br />1970 Meeting as written. Roll Call: <br />;Bordonaro, Boger, Schmidt and Davis. <br />Motion Carried <br />Minutes Approved <br />Old Business: <br />Freeway I-290: Mr. Hovancsek: Nothing to report. <br />Income Tax: Mr. Lockemer: Not getting any money until further <br />notice. Appeal is being decided in the Court of Appeals. Each <br />municipality is serving notice for withdrawal from the Central <br />Collection Agency before deadline of February 20; 1871. <br />,ORDINANCE 1-1: Mr. Bordonaro, seconded.•by Mr. Boger, introduced <br />Ordinance 71-1, Entitled: "AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE TO PROVIDE FOR <br />WRITTEN NOTICE OF WITHDRAWAL FROM THE AGREEMENT FOR CENTRAL COLLEC- <br />TION OF MUNICIPAL INCOME TAXES BETWEEN THIS MUNICIPALITY AND, THE <br />CITY OF CLEVELAND AND OTHERS." Mr. Bordonaro, seconded by Mr. <br />Schmidt, made a motion to suspend the rules of law requiring an <br />ordinance to be read on three separate occasions. Roll Call: <br />AYES: Messrs. Fitz-Gerald, Bordonaro, Boger, Schmidt and Davis. <br />NAYS: None. <br />Motion Carried <br />Rules Suspended <br />Mr. Bordonaro, seconded by Mr. Boger, moved that Ordinance #71-1 <br />be approved and passed as read.' Roll Call: AYES: Messrs. Fitz- <br />Gerald, Bordonaro; Boger, Schmidt and Davis.
