2. <br />. SOM Center Widening Progress Report: Mr. Hovancsek: East Ohio <br />Gas Company has completed their work. Pioneer Contracting Co. is <br />moving along at a reasonable pace-and job is satisfactory. Mr. <br />Lasarella is dissatisfied with the installed pipe which abuts the <br />road at the front of his property on SOM Center Rd. and his com- <br />plaint was made to the State. of Ohio Highway Dept. Mr. Hovancsek <br />will ask for a safety bar on the 48' wide pipe. Mayor Busa asked <br />for a guard rail at the ravine .by Fisher's Tavern. Pioneer con- <br />struction crew dug up utility lines causing inconveniences to <br />Aintree Park Apartments. Mayor Busa instructed Mr. Hovancsek to <br />investigate and report. <br />Wilson Mills Traffic Survey :_ Chief Shortie: They are working on it. <br />Master Plan: Mayor Busa reported the committee is in process of <br />organi2ation and will increase membership to approximately 25 mem- <br />bers. Detailed report forthcoming. <br />Population Count: Mayor Busa received a certificate from the <br />State of Ohio stating we now have in Mayfield Village a popula- <br />tion of 3,548 people. <br />Woodlane Drive: Mr. Hovancsek: The cleaning of the ditch by May- <br />field School Board will be done in the springy. Will follow up. <br />Maintree Water Main on Beecher_'_s Brook: Mr. Hovancsek: Nothing <br />- new. Will follow up. <br />Traveller's Indemnity, Independence Excavating and Hickory Hill: <br />Mr. Edelman: Working on it. The contractor will finish it in . <br />good faith in time. <br />ORDINANCE 1-2: Mr. Boger, seconded by Mr. Davis, introduced <br />Ordinance 71-2, Entitled: "AN ORDINANCE FOR THE EMPLOYMENT OF <br />LEGAL COUNSEL. FOR THE VILLAGE OF HAYFIELD, OHIO." Mr. Boger, <br />seconded by Mr. Schmidt, made a motion to suspend the rules of <br />law requiring an'ordinanee to be read on three separate occasions. <br />Roll Call: AYES: Messrs. Fitz-Gerald, Bordonaro, Boger, Schmidt <br />and Davis. NAYS:' None. <br />Motion Carried <br />Rules Suspended <br />Mr. Boger, seconded by MrQ Davis, moved that Ordinance #71-2 be <br />approved and passed as read. Roll Call:, AYES: Messrs. Fitz- <br />Gerald, Bordonaro, Boger, Schmidt and, Davis.
