2. <br />Buses directed Mr. Hovancsek to follow up on the pole con- <br />structed in the middle of the sidewalk. ~~lso, I~ir. Lasorella <br />has a ditch problem in front of his home that still has not <br />been resolved by the State of Ohio. <br />Master Plan: Mr. Smith stated that they have met consistent- <br />ly. In his letter dated Nov. 8, 1971 council has been brought <br />up to date. They will be considering the preliminary recom- <br />mendations made by the committee. Department of Urban Develop- <br />ment in Columbus has been contacted relative to the applica- <br />tion for funds under Phase 2 and we should know by Dec. 31, <br />1971 whether this application has been approvedi <br />Pollution Control: Mr. Hovancsek: IvIr. Edelman stated that <br />we have a proposed Resolution to join a county sewer authority. <br />Federal authorities want to know that something is being done <br />to handle the situation. There is nothing that we can do ex- <br />cept to join with the other communities and they are asking <br />th~.t council endorse the concept of a metropolitan sewer <br />district. The federal government expects positive action by <br />Jan. 15, 197P. <br />RESOLUTION #805: Entitled: "A RESOLUTION xPPROVIl`dG x <br />I~TETHOPOLITx17 CLEVELAND SEWER DI;~TRICT." Given a second read- <br />ing. <br />Joint Recreation Feasibility Study Committee: Mr. Schmidt: <br />It is in the talking stage and they are desirous of having <br />a type of Jr. Olympics which would have a great deal of merit. <br />Village Hall Parking Lot: I'lr. Boger: There are two sewers <br />of main concern. One is in front of the police department <br />doorway which Mr. D'Agostino plans to correct this year and <br />the second one to be done in the Spring, 1972. <br />Council Chambers Kitchenette Progress Report: I~Ir. Bordonaro: <br />Other bids are to come in soon. ^1he total job should come <br />under X1500.00. Mayor Buses requested Mr. Bordonaro to con- <br />tact Mrs. Patricia tlegrelli, President of the Mayfield Com- <br />munity Club, as she indicated financial help. <br />Village Hall Rebuilding Progress Report: TVIr. Leech: In <br />the process of completing the punch list in which many <br />trades are involved. Each department head should be com- <br />pletely satisfied before the contract is signed. Pflayor <br />Busa..stated that he is holding up the final payment check of <br />_..- ~b1g00.00 until the job is satisfactorily completed. He stated <br />~-~ that two public phones are now installed in the building by <br />the Ohio Bell Telephone Co. I~r. Boger stated that he would <br />not like to release the air conditioning compar~y of their <br />responsibility until next summer when the system will be in <br />use again, as he felt it was not performing properly at the <br />end of this season. <br />
