In the case of a 3-2 vote, the legislation would be <br />defeated and the municipality would be the loser: He said by stating their <br />preference and discussing it prior to a vote might provide better results. <br />Council agreed to state their preference: <br />Mr. Basile, Mr. Etzler, Mr. Goley, and Mr. Petschauer named Lawrence Barrett <br />as the agent they would like to handle the Commun.ity Mutual Insurance. <br />Mr. Flynn named Don Sommer as the agent he would like to handle the Community <br />Mutual Insurance. Mr. Petschauer, seconded by Mr. Goley, made a motion to adopt Resolution No. <br />87-16. <br />Roll Call: AYES: A11 <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Resolution Adopted <br />CLOSING COMMENTS <br />Mr. Basile noted a meeting to be held on the 18th at Hillcrest Hospital <br />regarding the issue that trauma patients should be taken to the closest <br />trauma center instead of the closest hospital. <br />Mayor Carmen, Mr. Feneli, and Acting.Chief Mohr plan to attend. <br />Mr. Basile said he was advised by residents in: the Hickory Hi11/Blueberry <br />Circle area that C.E.I. was checking on the installation of street lighzs <br />in the area. He asked who would make that.decision; some of the residents <br />were opposed to having street lights. <br />Eunice Kalina,.469 Blueberry Cirele, (in the audience) said she felt it <br />was presuinptous to assume all residents would be against street lights in <br />that area; she feels some residents would be for it'; Mayor Carmen said he feels this might be included in a Uoice of the Village <br />with a tear sheet for residents to get back to us with their preference.
