Page 4 <br />Mr. Amendola said the project superintendent had.promised him and Acting <br />Chief Mohr that the problems would be corrected very soon. <br />Status - Assistant Service Director Appointment - There were no comments on <br />this. <br />LaFrance Pumper Repair - Acting Chief Mohr said the repairs ha've been placed <br />on hold due to problems with the other pumper. <br />Young Pumper Update - Mr. Feneli said he has not received the information <br />on this. <br />Mr. Goley asked if a meeting had been scheduled with the gentleman who <br />repaired the Young pumper. Acting Chief Mohr said the meLting has not been scheduled yet. <br /> <br />Civil Service Exam - Fire Cliief = Pros?ress - No discussion he1d. <br />Firemen's Sick Time - Mr. Flynn said Pat Minor of the Finance Department <br />asked for a formula to figure sick time. He devised a formula and circulated <br />it to Mayor & Council. <br />Mr. Feneli said that Mr. Patrick, Finance Director, said there was a problem <br />with that formula. <br />Mr. Flynn will contact Mr. Patrick. <br />Second Reading of Ordinance.'No: 87-8, entitl,ed; "AN pRDINANCE ESTABLISHING <br />WAGES, BENEFITS AND OTHER TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF:EMPLOYMENT FOR EMPLOYEES <br />OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES INCONSISTENT HEREWITH <br />AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY." In.troduced by Council as a Whol.e. (First <br />Reading 3/9/87.) <br />Mr. Goley, seconded by Mr. Petschauer, made a motion to suspend the rules <br />of Council requiring an orclinance to be read on three separate occasions. <br />Mr. Feneli said that the ordinance to establish the positiori of Building <br />Conunissioner/Service Director is i.ncluded later on the agenda. Ordinance <br />87-8 should include amendments that will be necessitated by that ordinance <br />so he suggested that Council wait to enact Ordinance No. 87-8 until th.e <br />other ordinance is passed. Employees will be receiving retroactive pay <br />to J'anuary lst. <br />Mr. Goley made.a motion-to withdraw his motion'.to suspend the rul.es. <br />Third Reading of 0.rdinance N6::87-6, entitled; "AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION <br />123.02 OF THE CODIFIED ORDINANCES OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, PERTAINING TO <br />CONTRACTS AND THE ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS, REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES INCONSISTENT <br />HEREWITH AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY."
