3/16/87 <br />Page 5 <br /> <br />Mr. Etzler, seconded by Mr. Petschauer, made a motion to enact Ordinance <br />No. 87-6. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Ordinance Enacted <br />45 <br />Second Reading of Ordinance No. 87-1, entitled; "AN ORDINANCE ENACTING NEW SECTION <br />137.01 CREATING THE POSITION OF SERVICE AND BUILDING DIRECTOR, REPEALING EXISTING. <br />SECTIONS 131.01 and 1301.01 OF THE CODIFIED ORDINANCES OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, <br />AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY,rr • <br />Introduced by Mayor Fred N. Carmen and Council as a Whole. (First Reading <br />2/16/87.) Mr. Etzler, seconded by Mr. Goley, made the motion to suspend the rules of Council <br />requiring an ordinance to be read on three separate occasions. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br /> <br />Motion Carried <br />Rules Suspended <br />Mr. Etzler, seconded by Mr. Goley, made a motion to enact Ordinance No. 87-1. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Ordinance Enacted <br />NEW BUSINESS <br />Kenwood North Sub-Division Street Lighting - Mr. Basile said since we do not have <br />the cost figure now, it will be discussed later. <br />Aintree North Sub-Division Drainage - Mr. Basile said that a meeting has been <br />scheduled for Tuesday morning_to discuss this problem. He said that the follow- <br />ing persons will be attending: Mr. Hovancsek, Pat Caticchio, Mr. Courtney, <br />Mr. Kotoch, Mayor Carmen, and himself. <br />Sign Request - Mt. Vernon Square - Mr. Tom Kerns, Industrial Designer, <br />who was present in the audience, showed Council a drawing of the sign they <br />were requesting. ; <br />Discussion was held about whose responsibility it would be to maintain the <br />area around the sign. <br />Mr. Goley said that he feels that the Village should not accept the sign for <br />maintenance and encourages the building department to make su're that Mr. Paris <br />assumes maintenance. They may need to review the new sign ordinance to see if <br />that sign will still be permitted in five years. <br />r1r. Feneli said that the sign would probably not be acceptable in five years <br />according to the new sign ordinance.
