SECTIONS 131.01 and 1301.01 OF THE CODIFIED ORDINANCES OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY,rr • Introduced by Mayor Fred N. Carmen and Council as a Whole. (First Reading 2/16/87.) Mr. Etzler, seconded by Mr. Goley, made the motion to suspend the rules of Council requiring an ordinance to be read on three separate occasions. Roll Call: AYES: All NAYS: None Motion Carried Ordinance Enacted NEW BUSINESS Kenwood North Sub-Division Street Lighting - Mr. Basile said since we do not have the cost figure now, it will be discussed later. Aintree North Sub-Division Drainage - Mr. Basile said that a meeting has been scheduled for Tuesday morning_to discuss this problem. He said that the follow- ing persons will be attending: Mr. Hovancsek, Pat Caticchio, Mr. Courtney, Mr. Kotoch, Mayor Carmen, and himself. Sign Request - Mt. Vernon Square - Mr. Tom Kerns, Industrial Designer, who was present in the audience, showed Council a drawing of the sign they were requesting. ; Discussion was held about whose responsibility it would be to maintain the area around the sign. Mr. Goley said that he feels that the Village should not accept the sign for maintenance and encourages the building department to make su're that Mr. Paris assumes maintenance. They may need to review the new sign ordinance to see if that sign will still be permitted in five years. r1r. Feneli said that the sign would probably not be acceptable in five years according to the new sign ordinance.
